  1. I'm going with 2 RX7's and a Taxi (Skyline)
  2. **NOW SOLD*** Genuine OEM Spats - Silver (199) In good condition. A few very light scratches on the face - hardly noticeable - See Pics. The arch side and bottom are a bit manky - Some scratches/Scuffs/staining. There is a small broken bit on one of the spats where one of the arch bolt goes - see the last pic, I think using a suitable washer on it will hold it all together. Once the spats are on the car, the marks, scratches, scuff and the little broken bit won't really be seen! That's if you are not spraying to a different colour! Just washed them. They still have the brackets attached. £99 inc Recorded delivery. Cheers, Ro
  3. From Early Jap TT. Ashtray Holder (NO ASHTRAY!): I was going to make a mobile phone holder and charger out of it but haven't bothered. £6 inc delivery. Clock: ** NOW SOLD ** Bought off another member - I haven't tested it £6 inc delivery. Mirror Switch: Bought off another member - I haven't tested it £6 inc delivery. Rear wiper motor and rear washer jet available too. Cheers, Ro
  4. Silver (199) In good condition some light scratches which should polish out with a mop (Edit, you know what I mean! I didn't mean a kitchen mop!). Marks on underside which won't be seen once fitted. Unless your paint is 100% perfect - I don't think it needs a respray at all. Comes with the Polystyrene insert. £70 - I prefer if you collect it (from Luton, J10/11 of the M10) Just washed. See pics. Thanks, Ro
  5. Anyone going to this, this evening?
  6. Pull out the fuse to re-set unit. Does the unit need a speed pulse signal (On some fixed sat nav you do)? Maybe it's connected to incorrect wire for a speed pulse signal?

    Thx to Pheonix.

Imi, where did you get the wheel alignment done. Cheers, Ro
  8. Give Jezzybabes a shout - He may have some tool kits from his recent breakers
  9. Could be the grounding. Remove the battery terminals and clean them up. Look inside the battery terminal clamps for oxidisation. Also check the grounding is not corroded opposite of the battery end.
  10. You just escaped! You were parked in front of me and all the Supras behind me, about 8 Supras were fined!
  11. 1. fastisnice 2. imi 3. Ray 4. Rush 5. Robert - room for my single turbo aristo 6. Terribleturner + how_supra 7. Cainhead?? 8. Lui 9. supra_surj 10. JamieP 11. supRo Can we not park in front of the sports bar this time!
  12. Thanks mate, I have looked at these products as with most Ganador mirrors there's a gap where it sits with the window pillar. The tape is so long though! At least i can draught proof some house doors!
  13. It's probably the power steering pump bearing which is common. You can get the bearing and seal kit (both separate part numbers) for from Toyota. Worth doing if your PS pump is in good condition - needs to be taken apart and checked for play e.t.c
  14. Where did you get the stuff from Edd? Cheers, Ro Lol, yes!
  15. There are quite a lot of members who have these. There is a problem that can happen so I thought I would post up advice to stop it. The problem is water getting into the electrical connector, corroding (turns green – copper sulphate??) and the mirror motors stop working. The Ganador mirrors can let in more water into the mirror mount holes than stock mirrors, as they don't have a good gasket. The stock mirrors have a nice rubber gasket. With the Ganador it's just a bit of foam! This lets in water and causes corrosion on the electrical connectors for the stock mirror loom. I've had my mirrors for 2 years and recently all the mirror motors stopped working, one by one on both mirrors because of this problem. I also noticed a bit of oxidisation on the actual black connector of the Ganador loom that connects to the Ganador mirror PCB board. It’s the connector that attaches the Ganador loom to the stock mirror loom (White connector) that is more important to waterproof. I've now cleaned up the connectors and used a bit of WD40 to drive out moisture and it's all working fine but I have sealed the connectors with electrical tape. If you find large enough heat shrink then that will be better. This will give the connectors more protection against water. Best to do it soon when you have spare time rather than the inconvenience of dead mirror motors. It was scary trying not to kerb my new alloy wheels whilst parking, without having the use of the mirrors! I do have my car jet washed often so obviously this accelerates the corrosion as more water is forced into the mirror mount holes. Cheers, Ro
  16. I've looked on financial websites and one of the ways that Egg do the scam is on their balance transfer web page: The Payment protection option is defaulted to 'yes' when you do a transfer but the option is on the bottom of the page so that customers click on submit without realising they have opted for Payment protection. Looks like GE Capital Bank has been doing similar naughty stuff: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/business/6313203.stm

    Auto vs manual

I'm in 6th gear sometimes doing less than 100! Maybe even 60'ish miles, cruising in motorway traffic. I just make sure the Engine doesn't sound it's labouring too much. I can get just over 350 miles on my BPU Supra from a full tank, but that's driving conservatively without too much boost. Ro
  18. I'm just completely gutted as I know these sorts of protection are rip-off! I looked at the T&C's yesterday and there are so many disclaimers for them not to pay out anyway! I'm with egg too!
  19. Hi, Is anyone clued up on credit card payment protection plans? I have only just found out that I've been charged for this without my knowledge for the last two years! It's an account that I don't use much and I've not noticed it before! Unfortunately it's online so I don't have any printed statements to prove otherwise. I have made a complaint and they will look into it. I strictly oppose these kinds of protection plans and that's why I have never taken out such policies with any other financial products. The credit card company is claiming that I had verbally agreed to it on a phone call. They will listen to that phone call in the next 2 weeks and get back to me. Any advice? Don't they need a signature for a customer to take up such products? Thanks, Ro
  20. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/search.php?searchid=2256400 A dead/faulty speedo convertor will cause error 42 Do you have any misfiring?
  21. Lots of info on error 42 if you have a quick search. The speedo convertor could be behind anywhere around dash and possibly around the gear surround. I'll have a quick look around for info in the mean time. Error code 14 - Igniter feedback problem - Check the Coilpack clips are secure and not damaged. Sometimes they visually look OK but are still faulty. Ro
  22. Pics attached. I can get better close ups at the weekend. Very good tread all round. There is cosmetic kerbing but nothing too bad. These are premium Japanese alloys (Weds Novartis Type M) and are quite light for 18's. My car handles much better compared to a stock UK car although this is probably due to my Tein suspension. I have chrome nuts for the wheels and alloy valves/dust caps too. I think the fronts are 8.5 width and rears 9.5 but I will have to double check on that. Fronts are 235/40/18 (Toyo T1R) and rears are 265/35/18 (Goodyear F1 Eagle GSD3). As I have said, you are more than welcome to try them on and drive with them to see if you like it first. Cheers, Ro
