  1. I've done this a few times! Try Driving off fast in first gear and brake hard! Sometimes that dislodges rogue nuts and bolts

  7. Just fed up of few things, having to park up carefully with the wheels/car being lowered, and rear bumper ripping off e.t.c! Just time to move on really. I have a buyer from Sweden coming to look at it. If he doesn't buy it then I'll stick it on here.
  8. He should have bought that nice silver Supra!
  9. I thought the bottom picture was a matching suit case!
  10. Just bear in mind that if you have a B&M short shifter, some gearknobs may screw down too much, fouling the movement needed for reverse gear. The Greddy/Trust is an example. I had a ring made to stop my greddy gear knob screwing down too much but in the end I just had the Gear knob milled down
  11. Try Ibrar (pro alloys) and Jezzybabes
  12. Halfords own brand has 3/4 year warranty I think!! http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=35928
  13. Cool, Mines was showing more problems. When you do cold start, you should be able to reach the downpipe joins in the engine bay and the exhaust joins underneath the car, whilst the exhaust is still COLD, feel the joins for leaks.
  14. Keith C told me it should be lower!!! I had a GS300 N/A which had about 1800 rpm on cold start and 1200 rpm when warm. It had two problems. 1, Vacuum leak on the gasket in between the throttle body and inlet manifold. I think this raises the revs? 2, This can also cause misfiring so someone had tightened the throttle cable to try and mask the misfiring. When I fixed the problems the Cold start revs went down to 1200 and Warm/hot idle to 800. About the same as my TT. Start the engine when cold. In the engine bay, push in the throttle cable with your hand so it's slackened - See if Idle goes down. Toyota reccommend the gasket is changed everytime you change the sparkplugs but some people don't. Make sure you do. Not sure if an exhaust leak may cause higher idle?
  15. When I used to live in Luton I used to drive to Ace Cafe and the SEM meet (Chobham, Surrey!). I'm sure a local meet will get a few people out. There's a few of us in Luton and Bedforshire including a nice Top secret, wide bodied Single Turbo Supra and another Supra with Custom big twins. My friend has started a monthly mazda rotary club meet in Luton. I'll let you know when that's on as all Jap cars are welcomed. There used to be Jap meets in MK. I'm usually back in Luton at the weekend. Give me a shout if you want to meet up. Ro
  16. Can it be taken off easily by men?
  17. Netgear routers are good. But their USB Network adapters are crap IMO. I've had two of those and they lose connection and aren't robust. Their PCMCIA laptop cards are very good though.
  18. This could be like the great Bovingdon air strip meet but even better!

    Rebuild

I would go to Phoenix in Watford. They have rectified incorrect rebuilds by other garages too! Speak to Mark.
  23. That's got to be one of the nicest car on this forum! Well done! Ro
