Hardly surprising to me. It's not the first time it's happened. This is the iTrader feedback I left for Prof. Monkey: "Car was not as described as in the advert. Bad bodywork, Misfiring and dangerous " http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/itrader.php?u=3838 Ro

Good info Thorin and AJI. How do the Michelin Pilot Sport Cups and Pirelli P-Zero Corsas compare to 888's price wise and are they semi slicks? Thanks, Ro

  10. There's always been low mileage cars coming over and low mileage cars being sold here. Usually about 30-60K miles old. This has always been the case in the last 5 years. So how comes the mileage is not going up in general over the years? In my opinion; of course lots of cars are being clocked over there and here in the UK! All of the low mileage imports I saw (about 15) when I was looking for a Supra were clearly clocked as the interior and general condition indicated mileage was higher!

Thanks guys. How much did you pay for them and where did you get them from? Cheers, Ro
  15. Hi, I'll be doing a track day soon so I want to buy some road legal tyres for the stock 17" alloys. Is it worth going for semi slicks? I guess something for all weather use as the track day is in February and it may be raining! I will also use the rear wheels on the drag strip. I think the Toyo 888s are good but wear out very quick? Please post your recommendations for the best tyres for a track and perhaps some mid budget ones too. What are the widest tyres that you can fit on the front and back of the stock 17" wheels? Bobbeh mentioned he had a lot of under steer using 235's on the front. Thanks, Ro

  19. Seven Samurai - Black and White jap film but very good Shawshank Redemption I'm watching 'City of God' tonight - Supposed to be very good
  20. I've seen OEM replicas where they don't make them as curved as OEM as it's harder to do!
  21. I run upto 1.25 bar on j spec turbos (40K miles on BPU now). Boost should not drop off as much as it is if your foot is down on the throttle. You have a problem somewhere. Just a suggestion - Possibly a boost pressure tank leak. When you can't maintain boost on a gear, when you drop a gear does it reach full boost?
  22. Bump - Are the taillights supposed to be the outer ones? Thanks
  23. Diagram. I think the foglight conversion has it's own relay and diode
