  1. I too reckon Sky could be doing better with their quotations especially as they are a specialist and the club insurer. This is the second year I've gone with someone else - same insurance benefits as sky but £500 cheaper! My insurance renewal with Lancaster was £785. I don't think they can cover Single Turbo Supras though
  2. Cool mate, Keep us informed.
  3. I absolutely hated it! In TTC mode the car makes a horrible drony sound even at idle. On the motorway it was unbearable. Still, easier to power slide with TTC!
  4. Well done Michael! The car looks awesome and facelift too! Apart from BPU mods, will you be doing any cosmetic mods, perhaps an interior re-trim? Cheers, Ro
  5. Recently there has been a higher rate of negative feedbacks being reported. I don't think it's because there are more dodgy trades, I think it's because more people are growing balls!
  6. You can use the same paint as the car body - 2K/2Pac paint. Do not use cellulose based paint as they can't withstand the heat
  7. It will vary from car to car. Start off with one and see if it holds the desired boost - If not then you'll have to get one with bigger/smaller hole. E.g on my car a supposedly 1.2 bar ring was making 1.4 bar Chris Wilson sells them - Speak to him
  8. There are bad buyers too! For example someone taking ages to pay, or you have sent something out as it was urgent to the buyer and then they don't pay. Or maybe they promise they will buy something and you hold the item and then they say they don't want it! Anyway, it's unfortunate but don't think that all members are honest and trustworthy! There are a few who aren't
  9. Just take it easy with the right foot when you get it back!
  10. Nice one mate, I look forward to more noisy videos! Haven't you recently gone BPU?
  11. By using Tyre weld, does it render the tyre useless for a permanent repair? Not that you should be using repaired tyres on a fast car?
  12. Saw you going along the Farnborough Road in the Town Center. Stock spoiler and what seemed to be white front bumper and skirts! Maybe it was the light causing it to appear white! Ro
  13. Hi, You won't find those sort of prices here! Try MVP in the US - Details on the trader section
  14. I think all the UK's have jap size number plate holder on the front? If you want ther larger one which fit the UK size number plate perfectly, the Part number is: 52121-17040. This is Supra specific as it has same hole distances and contours of the smaller Number plate holder
  15. In my experience I found the Iridiums good for 11-12K miles then the car becomes less responsive. I still use Iridiums (IK24) on my BPU Supra as I find they make the car more responsive than the NGK copper ones.
  16. I saw that at one of the car shows. Engine in the boot!
  17. I'm having a Cheese ploughmans sarnie. Doh, I just dropped a nice bit of cheese typing this!
  18. No sickies for you for the next two years I reckon! With your luck, I reckon your new boss owns a nice Supra and probably reading this thread right now!
  19. Unfortunately thats got poo performance too!
  20. That Tourette guy is a proper c*nt! He almost knocked Davina over! I don't think Shilpa Shetty is very attractive for a Bollywood star. I prefer Ashwarya Rai!
  21. Vacuum leak perhaps? When you changed the sparkplugs did you replace the gasket in-between the throttle body and the inlet manifold with a new gasket?
