  1. Exactly, 6 speed manual too, and with Fraser being a world class tuner for MoTeC, I suspect it's been looked after
  2. Hi Guys, Talking to Fraser today and he is letting his Supra go Imported in 1999 as a new car 1999 twin turbo vvti 78k Black leather Upgraded intercooler 19" wheels Upgraded exhaust Eibach springs and uprated dampers £13,500 ono. Call him on 07041 375524 Also, he fitted a MoTeC M800 to it and made a plug n play loom. £13,500 doesnt include the MoTeC but is available by seperate negotiation. I know he datalogged all the stock vvti data and mapped everything into the M800 I dont have masses of information, so best to give Fraser a call. But it will have been looked after ! http://img21.imageshack.us/img21/3216/27092009372l.jpg
  3. Avoid. Engine was low on compression, gearbox needed rebuilding, there is some damage to the chassis unless it's been fixed, one of the wheels is fooked (not cheap). Oh, and if it's 650bhp then I can get a 10sec pass on my mountain bike Have to say it has cleaned up very well from last time I saw it !!!
  4. Wasn't a bad shakedown really, the car started to hook up and the launch was looking promising. Bit of a shame the diff didn't hold for that run as Dude reckoned it would've been pretty quick. Might need to tweak the launch in the V-Pro too, 1.2bar on the line may be a bit much Solid mounts and majestic cover is the plan but need to get a built bottom end in there, it's a stock bottom end and you need more revs to make sense of that turbo !!! But 1.8bar by 4500 on road fuel isn't too horrendous, 8500rpms or more will be better
  5. Starts about 10am and finishes whenever everyone has left
  6. Bit short notice I know, but with Japshow, Dude's car to prep and a high workload, we didn't think we'd have an open day this September. However, what the hell Would imagine there will be the normal broad spread of cars, there will be a BBQ and as ever it will be in aid of a charity. Earlier this year we raised nearly £800 for http://www.sasbah.org.uk/ So hope to see a few of you, Dude's car will be here in it's current state
  7. Wouldn't go near it myself ......
  8. Sorry mate, was trying to sort a BBQ but struggling. Can definitely meet here if you like though, that's not a problem Have PM'd too John probably wont be here though, he leaves at 1ish.
  9. Got four more coming for customers too eh mate Two with flywheels
  10. Aint that the truth, we have to forcibly evict him from the workshop most nights - never known enthusiasm for the Supra like it
  11. Just a few pics http://img23.imageshack.us/img23/4277/p7262991.jpg http://img13.imageshack.us/img13/424/p7263037.jpg http://img24.imageshack.us/img24/8464/p7262994.jpg http://img24.imageshack.us/img24/5835/p7263022.jpg Definitely think we need to have more of a Supra presence next year though lads, was a good day out We even survived getting bladdered in Hull the night before The car ran like clockwork though, bit of a boost issue but engine felt great, low egts etc.
  12. Nah no real damage. Made me laugh that john was the only car to go thru the laser at the end of the handling course completely broadside We didn't win but we will be remembered
  13. I think the terminal was 119mph. The handling circuit was funny . Very sideways action and only 2 or 3 seconds behind most of the evos etc I hope John's last quarter run is on the dvd, was a hilarious showboat run. Sat on the line, worked his way into 5th and then launched, the crowd loved it as he did a burn out for most of the quarter :
  14. What a day ! We've had some fun and it was a good day, but we've had plenty of issues including boost loss, traction etc. The weather really didn't help either. But we've learnt a lot and will be back next year better prepared and a little more experienced. Still waiting on times but from memory the quarter mile was 12.2, 154 top speed over 1km and 46.5secs handling course. Not great but we had a crack despite all the problem and the car has come back in one piece, the engine feels great too. Thanks to michael and tdr for their help today too. Hopefully next year there will be more than one supra at totb.
  15. Nope, pissing down just done a 14.0 and 119mph in the wet on road tyres. We've been the most sideways of anyone tho We're curently winning the most number of ooohs from the crowd
  16. John is proven whereas I am not, so next year I'll get myself along to a few drag events and get some times down
  17. Well let's just say he's happier with a line lock
  18. Unfortunately not, we really were short on time this year, was a bit of a late decision. Next year though we intend to take two cars and start preparing a lot earlier. Already thinking about building a new engine for mine over the coming winter
  19. Well, nowhere near as prepared as I would like to be, but ........ .... she's packed up and ready to set off tomorrow morning. http://img16.imageshack.us/img16/2357/img00006u.jpg All that remains now is for a certain someone to do his thing http://img36.imageshack.us/img36/2268/img00007c.jpg Should be a good day out whatever happens, I'll be happy if Dude doesn't barrel roll it at the end of the top speed section
  20. I bet poor old Wayne thought that he'd finally lived that moment down.
  21. Sure helps my nerves though Pretty pleased with the car, can't believe it's taken me 18 months to get round to mapping it properly ! Poor old girl always takes 2nd place to customers cars now Still, providing it comes back from totb in one piece, then I vow to start using it again. Must sign up for the south coast supra run Oh, and I really like R888s
  22. Does sound like it doesn't it mate The vapour blaster is the nuts tho ! Brings parts up like new. Like this http://www.timwalkerrestorations.co.uk/Tim%20Walker/vapour_blasting.htm We do actually have a Sunnen valve guide and seat machine, cuts lovely multi angle valve seats I didn't mention the flux capacitor recalibrator or the BPUomatic
  23. Hope you had a good one mate
