  1. Totally agree, it's a classic I've always fancied, and these conversions are very cool.
  2. I generally agree, and some are just shockingly bad - er except Hard Knock Life by Jay-Z of course (ahem)
  3. Hi all, I took a few piccies in GT4 and saved them to my memory stick, and now my PC says that the USB drive needs formatting Unfortunately, it was a 1Gb memory stick and had lots of other files on it Is there any way back ?!? Ta Matt
  4. Welcome Trig, hope we can help
  5. But includes Alloy Gearknob and POPPY CORAL !!! WTF is that !!! Hilarious tho, No Test Pilots indeed Maybe they want to try out the Steering Wheel Buttons :D:D
  6. IMO going single will reduce your market come sale time, although I could be wrong. But insurance will be higher and maintenance more specialised etc. But this is quite often the case with modded motors, I dread to think how much I've lost on mods !!! But I do it for ME, not for the next owner. Yes you SHOULD keep one eye on resale when modding, but I never do TBH if you're happy with the car and can afford to go for a single upgrade, then why not ! What else are you gonna find for the same money ? All the best Matt
  7. Yeah I'm not bothered by it either, however, we realise our insurance costs etc are inflated for those ar*eholes that drive uninsured\MOT'd and so-on, but if this network is a success what will happen ? a) We will all see healthy premium reductions ? or b) Insurance companies will see improved profits ?!? Hmmmm.
  8. Hello mate, I'm on the catalogue mailing list for these guys http://www.frost.co.uk/. They have some good stuff for polishing etc and I bought this kit from them a while ago (somewhere on this page http://www.frost.co.uk/productList.asp?catID=27) Just attaches to my drill and does a bloody good job. You might want to talk to them first though and check they can give you the right stuff, last thing you want is to use something abrasive All the best Matt PS. I was a little nervous recommending something DIY on such nice\expensive wheels so please ring them first.
  9. Yeah, 3 points for 95 is pretty good. If there is a downside to the Supra, it's the speed with which it hits 3 figures and licence losing territory.

    Bolney!

WAHOO ! I'll definitely be there
  11. Bet it was fun finding those
  12. Hi, Saw you waiting to go right off the A217 this evening, I was going straight on. Nice car BTW
  13. Had two trying to take pics of mine with their phones on the way in this morning
  14. Here ya go matey http://www.caldermotor.co.uk/ Matt
  15. Anyone got a link to their website ? Ta. s'okay - found it
  16. It's probably worrying that most of my 'moments' include petrol But here's another. My missus and I used to go camping in the new forest, I'm far too keen on my comforts now for this sort of escapade but it was a laugh at the time. Anyway, I remember getting ready to start the bbq and these two student-y looking types had pitched their little 2man tent near ours. There they were with their single gas ring encouraging their tin of baked beans to warm up. PAH - that's not how you get dinner going ! So I pull out my barby, charcoal, portable blow torch and.......small glass jar of, er, lighter fluid Now I'm sure BBQ's shouldn't be ready to cook in 20seconds, but mine was. Unfortunatly, so was the table that caught light over two feet away Cue me tearing across the campsite to the tap and back and a very 'unimpressed' look from the pleasure prevention officer Matt
  17. Hmmmm, interesting - could be something to try over the coming 4 day weekend The two options on this poll are : 1. Yes perform the mod it will be ok and u`ll love it! or 2. No son it will bugger your engine long term, its not a good mod! Does it bugger anything up ? Or reduce engine longevity ? Cheers Matt
  18. Hope you don't mind me asking a daft one, but why is TTC notably louder ?
  19. Maybe prices aren't quite so strong. I would imagine that there is a degree of you get what you pay for tho, I deliberately bought mine from the For Sale section here as it was a car from an active member and it had been well looked for etc, but I just wondered if this level of interest was the norm for a Supra.
  20. Welcome Steve, hope you find the ideal TT. Just a note on the autos. My brother works for Mercedes Benz, and he's driven most of the interesting ones (AMG's etc). I took him for a spin in my TT auto, and he simply couldn't believe how quickly my 10 year old auto was changing up, and he was genuinely impressed with its performance. Coming from someone who's driven automatic cars worth more than my house and tuned by AMG etc, I was quite pleased All the best Matt
  21. Hi all, I've not yet had my Supe a year, but there seems to be a lot of newbie posts and general interest in the Supe. Is this normal ? I guess there must be a strong market out there otherwise prices wouldn't be holding as they are, but just wondered if this was a normal level of post-winter interest Cheers Matt
  22. Frightening and yet hilarious Love it Oh, and this has left me in tears in the office !!!
  23. If you can find me an RS6 for £2-5k - here's my cheque book !!! Matt
  24. Hi all, I probably watch Home Improvement far too much, but I've certainly had my share of Tim the Toolman Taylor moments ! For example. I used to have an old Suffolk Punch lawnmower. Yes a 14" electric would've done, but if it ain't 4-stroke - I don't wanna know Anyway, a number of years ago I dug this out of the shed for the first mow of the year. Cleaned the plug, checked the oil etc but the bugger wouldn't start. I diagnosed stale petrol so emptied the tank and filled it up with fresh petrol, it then started no problem. However, what to do with the old petrol ? Well I thought I'd just tip it down the drain near the house. With this done, I then thought 'that probably wasn't a good idea' so decided to, er, get rid of the petrol................cue lit match Well at first I wasn't worried, okay my drain was on fire but I thought the petrol would just burn away and job done then out of no where BANG - WTF was that !!! Despite me shatting meself at this point, there was no damage and I still have no idea what went bang. I did have visions of water gushing up from the toilets and plugholes in the house tho However, just when I started to calm down BANG NOW I'm starting to worry, visions of burst pipes and neighbours screaming about rising waters etc Thankfully, that was the end of it and I survived my Darwin Award moment. But I'm sure I'm not the only one to have daft moments, so lets hear 'em Matt
  25. Hi, This might not be big enough, but I've just bought a 1994 BMW 525iSE estate in dark metallic blue with silver leather, double length sunroof and a few other extras. Got it from a local BMW specialist with warranty, service etc for a little over £2.5k. It's comfy, goes well enough, stereo sounds okay, is in cracking condition and looks alright - just the ticket for keeping the miles off the Supra and doing the trips to the local tip Matt
