  1. Definately the latter I'm afraid. Enjoyed Marham loads and want to get better. Thought that 4WD may be best to start off then progress to RWD when I was more used to the whole thing. Also, I just like the whole 4WD rally car thing anyway (hence the Integrale) Maybe a Celica GT4 WRC then
  2. . Would be having a look at yours mate, if you were nearer
  3. I've got an Integrale, which I'm thinking of selling here to make way for a car which I can use for trackdays and won't be too worried about stone chips, a few dings here and there etc and which will be easy to repair. Ideally looking to spend about £2k so I can insure TPFT for the road and not worry about track insurance. Am interested in your views. I've thought about keeping the Integrale as a track car, but TBH I feel that it's too 'fragile' and that chucking around tracks will kill it, which would be a shame. Imprezas are 10 a penny, so new body panels should be readly available, but don't know much about them reliability wise. I really like Mitsi Evo's (any) but again, know less than I do for Imprezas. Or thinking BMW 328i or MR2 Turbo (although really want a 4 seater) Help!!
  4. Trig - Sorry, but was PM'd straight away and have now PM'd Lui with address to send ticket to. Razza - I know mate - double booked with a drinking weekend in Minehead with 5 mates
  5. I have piad for ONE ticket and a clubstand for JAPFEST, but am now unable to go. If anyone wants this, they are welcome to PM me and I'll contact LUI to let him know. Please note that you must be able to arrange collection from LUI, as I am often away so pointless getting them sent to my house to forward on. cheers
  6. Ollie, You left a message for me earlier saying you hadn't received my agreed value form. I posted it over a week ago with all the receipts etc, so not sure where it's got to. Was after the same as last year due to money spent (£2k on interior and maybe £2k on maintenance/upkeep) I'll try to ring tomorrow, but difficult during the day at work. Hope it's not gone missing in the post with all the receipts Jon
  7. I'm sure you could just get a temporary cover note from your insurer for a week for no or little cost. I did this when I owned 2 cars for 1 month on the same insurance
  8. Hi Keron, What condition & mileage for the rear (don't need front)? I'll probably end up going for new as otherwise you pay twice for labour, but may be interested. Please can you PM me details and price? cheers
  9. Surely without being connected it's physically impossible for it to go off??
  10. Aah. Thanks Digsy. I knew it was a proper term, but was searching Google (how sad!!) to try to find where it originated from
  11. Just been told one of my rear shocks is leaking (only done 15,000 miles) I need to replace both, but thought I'd ask if anyone has a nearly new set rather than shelling out for a 2 new ones cheers
  12. No it's definately a proper mannerism to say off when talking about numbers of units. Maybe it's an engineering term with some deep rooted history (or some berk said the wrong thing and it stuck LOL)
  13. Yeah, but why do people say things like "I want 3 off 10mm nuts" then - never understod that one
  14. I am considering (nothing definate at the moment) selling my Integale to make way for a cheaper car which I can use for track days. Model: Lancia Delta Integrale 16V Year:1990 – G reg Mileage: 170,000 km (approx 100,000 miles) Price: £4000 MOT until end March 2009 and tax until Sept 08 I’ve owned this car for 5 years now (and driven it approx 20,000 km) and feel it’s time for a change. I fancy getting something to use on track days and the Lancia is just too fragile for that, so I’d like it to go to an enthusiast for a bit of TLC for someone else to have fun with it. I bought this car from Auto Integrale in Reading which is one of the most respected Integrale specialists in the country. Before I owned it, it had previously been maintained by all the top names in Integrale (Whalleys, Richard Thorne and AI) and I have about £8k’s worth of receipts from that era. During the period of my ownership, the following work has been done: New shocks (now done 15,000 km) Clutch master & slave cylinders All new disks Polyeurethane suspension bushes Forge Motorsport wastegate actuator Rear crossmember welding (and other welding for MOT) Brand new stainless CSC Exhaust Plus the obvious: Cambelt (x2) Servicing (Fully Synthetic oil every 4,000 km) The car also has: MOMO steering wheel with Lancia centre piece Alpine CD head unit & amp In total over the 5 years I’ve probably spent approx £8k in servicing & maintenance & repairs, concentrating on mechanicals rather than bodywork, so she could do with some body work being done and topped off with a full respray. The car has never given me any mechanical problems, although the Clifford Alarm doesn’t always pop the central locking – but I think this is the Alarm siren battery needing to be replaced, as the cars central locking works fine with the key. All other electrics work 100% which is rare for these cars. This is priced to sell at £4,000, which I think is a fair price considering the car has never let me down, the bodywork is in better condition than many of this age and I have over 10 years worth of history!! Pics are not new, but if anyone wants I can take new ones at the weekend
  15. Anyone else experienced Bilstein shocks leaking after 2 years and 15000 miles? Is there anything which can be done to rebuild the leaking one, or do I need to replace both sides with new ones to keep it all even? cheers
  16. I booked the Margate Travelodge, £39 for a twin room 17 miles away from Dover
  17. Sizes seem odd. Would expect 235/45/17 on the front and 255/40/17 on the rear. Are the wheels the same size all round?
  18. Excellent work again Vinny
  19. Gaz, they're actually my door cards This was the design Vinny & I came up with out of a few pics and a design I made out of some thoughts of my own. TBH, I hope some people are able to come up with their own design soon, although I can't fault people for copying - they do look superb
  20. Sorry - been searching today and realised it's at my parent's house miles away. Won't be seeing them for a few months.
  21. Hi, My Integrale's central locking has stopped working when pressing the Clifford remote buttons. The remote turns the alarm on/off OK (although chirps don't always sound) but the doors make no attempt to open or close. Using the key works fine - all doors lock/unlock. A while ago I had to replace the CL wires in the drivers door as two had broken and the lock buttons on the other 3 doors all tried to pop up but shot straight back down again as the drivers CL solenoid was not receiving any pulse. None of them even move now when pressing the keyfob, so I'm guessing it's more than just a broken wire. Seem alarm related rather than car realated. Any suggestions? cheers
  22. http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/sales/427400.htm not much in the way of details and for some reason seller can't take pics.
