  1. Just apologise and say you don't have any cash - can't argue then
  2. I did see a little puff of smoke when you booted it. I saw some in my rear view mirror a few weeks ago on the overrun down a hill, but nothing since
  3. Saw that. Not sure yet - if I've got my assignment done, I'll probably come, but if not, as I need to get it finished by next Monday, I'll have to stay home
  4. I was very impressd with the Astra VXR on a recent VXR track day I did at Thruxton. Good handling and decent performance. In the hands of Paul O'Neill (ex Touring Car driver) is was devastating
  5. Good points Gerry. Don't want to give them an excuse for charging us event type rates.
  6. Nice vid Chris nice big run-offs - NOT Some nice fighting the wheel at about 4 mins coming out of the the first corner on lap 2 nice looking old school car too
  7. Any news on this Tigger? Is Lord Bath a closet Supra fancier and the prospect of 20 of the beasts tickles his fancy?
  8. That would be me mate Saw your 300ZX a few cars up and always liked the look of them, so though I'd get a bit nearer for a better look
  9. Another thought... I was thinking of taking a trip out one day driving down to Trier and up the Mosel Valley to Koblenz. Anyone else thinking of taking a day off the Ring to see a bit of Germany?
  10. Anyone thought of getting tickets to the DTM? Might be worth a look seeing as we're there anyway...
  11. Some time ago I watched a foreign film about a street level drug dealer, possibly called Bruno. It features a day and night where he's trying to score drugs, pay people back, gets involved with gangland bosses etc and gets tortured with a lamp. Can't for the life of me remember the name and can't find it using Google. Anyone seen it and know it's name?
  12. Stunning car Steve - Change your Avatar mate!!
  13. Why do so many people write ect when they abbreviate Et Cetera. Clearly it's etc rant over...
  14. Bugger: Just looked and I'm too late. Must have missed the original offer email and forgot all about it Sorry guys, but it seems I posted erroneously...
  15. As I work for a major well known UK defence contractor, I can get special tickets for the VIP enclosure for less than the usual entry fee which includes a sit down area, guidebook and food. Not sure on the allocation, but I'll have a look
  16. Well, I now have a 360 steering wheel rigged up for Forza2 and am putting in the laps:D I'm trying to drive sensibly, rather than nailing it and crashing, as though were actually my car. Got round in 9:50 today in an MR2 (which is spec'd to same BHP as mine which my brother is driving) with one small off on the grass for a 3 seconds penalty. Working up to the Supra
  17. Played the demo. erased it. forgot it Waiting till I finish the career mode on Forza2, then buying Burnout Revenge as a fun car game
  18. Lucky for you there Jamie. Got the MR2 filled up at Sainsbury's with 95RON, so will use that tomorrow. Am off all week in a works hire car, so we'll see how I get on on that
  19. Me too. Do they only do North Weald though as it's a long way from me
  20. Pisses me off people panic buying when the don't need it. Looked on some news websites and one bloke was boasting that he filled up both his and his wife's car today even though they're not going to be driving anywhere for at least a week
  21. Anyone else struggling to get any fuel. Drove round Bath and the the surrounding area garages this evening and ever one of them is shut up saying out of fuel
  22. Thanks all for a great afternoon, catching up with some old faces and chatting with some new ones. Longleat sounds good Tigger, look forward to that On a down side - I can't get any petrol in Bath and the needle is below the line
