  1. Thanks Guy - ordered 5ltrs and got the free delivery
  2. You sure all the bulbs are working? I had this once and found i had a side light bulb come out a bit and it needed to be pushed back in
  3. No you won't (at least not much). The Auto change is so fast and I think that the throttle stays open so the boosted air doesn't get dumped. You get a little 'sneeze' when it changes up, but barely audible. Only really get it on lift off
  4. OK. Suggest we knock this one on the head and go for next week if that would be better for people. I don't have the Supra anyway this weekend, so maybe that's best Sorry to hear about the prank calls, most strange & worrying!! Have fun Horsing around
  5. Ok. 1pm at usual pub. Have screwed up as don't have Supe but will be in MR2. Come on mawby and tigger, stevie etc
  6. Tried to respond using mobile phone. Mini meet anyone?
  7. I also enjoy the fluttering at very low boost, as well as the full dump at WOT lots of grin factor for the money
  8. Rather than buying a whole load of cars which have less power than the Supra, why doesn't he just buy one with more, which would stand a chance? R32 is 250 bhp and not a lot faster than a stock GTI if I remember rightly what they said on Top Gear. BPU should demolish it, although will depend on what race (drag, track etc) and driver skills
  9. Hi Guy, (been away fom PC for a week) I'm after some decent 75/90 Gear Oil which must be suitable for LSD (for my mk2 MR2 Turbo) What would you recommend?
  10. yes please - obviously depends on date
  11. Don't know mate? Gatso, Tigger, Mawby - someone please tell us, is anything happening tomorrow??
  12. Not interested in Apple stuff, but admire the clever marketing - getting people suckered into buying songs on the iPod so they're locked in for life rather than using free MP3s etc Just got the Sony Ericson W910i as an upgrade for £18 per month with 500 mins/texts per month. Don't use most of the features, but like the phone and I've had a couple of Sony's now. Can't stand Nokia phones - have got one for work and the controls are not as intuitive as the Sony's
  13. Surprised if NA was that much cheaper than TT, as it was never a UK car, so the insurance co's bump the price up. As Rich says, I think they've given you a quote for a MkIII, happen all the time - you need to know the exact engine discplacement to get it right (I think you want 2997cc)
  14. £25 to transfer ownership and prevent ex-wife getting the car seems like a good price to me
  15. Bother - was looking forward to this - just got home from 'oop north' and saw this was cancelled. Still up for a meet though
  16. Nice pics Henk - so who's is the Vette? Homer: D'oh
  17. Any new offers coming up soon Oilman?
  18. Can someone please tell me what NGK copper plugs I need for my MR2 Turbo (Grade 7)? I've tried to search etc on the IMOC forum and it's driving me nuts! cheers
  19. Won't be there this time. Was thinking of it, but still too much to do on my MSC assignment which I need to finish by next week so I can go on the Longleat run Have a good one:D
  20. Yes. it needs to be in the pipe from Turbo to Actuator. Check to see if the MBC barb has a tiny hole to let air leak from, as this must be uncovered or it spikes all over the place (well, mine did). You also need to cut the hose which between the two VSVs and cap both ends IIRC. i found placing a bleed valve between turbo and actuator was much easier and gave better results
  21. Did you cap the pipes off the VSV? I tried an MBC and found that without this it would spike all over the place. I found a Bleed Valve much more stable (only used once to raise boost on hot day at Santa Pod last year)
  22. I said this ages ago, when they were talking about bringing in the ban. That tax must come from somewhere, so basically everyone is now paying through increased tax elsewhere Kids should be forced to start and get hooked at school. Either that or we should round up all the scum sucking out of the country rather than paying in and burn them to providing heating for those who contribute to society - sensible policies for a better Britain
  23. Think you're right mate. Sure I read it was a 3 to 1 ratio of tax which the NHS gets from smokers versus the expense of treating smoking related diseases. Smokers should be patched up and shipped out and told to get smoking!!
  24. Drive that way to work and back (Bath to Bristol), but not always in the Supra I looked at your garage on 300ZX.co.uk and wondered why you had double pipes each side whereas the car I saw today had one fat exhaust pipe each side. Hope you get it all burned out soon what boost you running?
  25. Nice one I used to love NFSU2. Best one I reckon - brought back old memories ripping up the night time streets in my Supra
