  1. A smaller meet than promised from the replies in the thread, but good to catch up with the regulars and a few new faces too. Thanks Tigger and looking forward to the Supra trackday in a few weeks
  2. Sounds good. You know they've screwed the ring road up by making it mostly 50mph now
  3. Last year it was 110mph. I hit 110.8 on my first run and thought they'd say something, but no one did. But I think they enforce it more now.
  4. That was me. Was going to post up too, but far too busy at work and been away so not been able to Yours looks very nice
  5. Nice cufflinks Bobbeh, There's some tracks here on the metallica website: http://www.metallica.com/index.asp?item=601197
  6. Well, I for one, can almost definitely actually say I should be looking good for coming to this assuming something doesn't come up which means I might not be able to... See you all next Saturday
  7. Surely that's an oxymoron? Prabably: "insofar as seems reasonably true, factual, or to be expected : without much doubt" Definitely: "free of all ambiguity, uncertainty, or obscurity " Think they're mutually exclusive mate
  8. Expect to be up for this, but going away with work Sunday, so need to check times
  9. Have a look at http://www.moris.co.uk/index.htm - probably be cheaper
  10. Totally agree Steve - looking forward to it, 3 weekends of quality car time
  11. Well. I must report this was a thoroughly enjoyable day. The circuit was pretty good and the organisation was top notch and the instructors were excellent. At the end of the day my exit speed from some corners must have been 20mph more than when I started and I was having to brake before the 'Brake' boards they put up, whereas at the start I was easily able to brake after them. Almost lost the back end a few times through steering while still hard on the brakes, or I'd have missed the corner, or putting the power on too early, but really gained a lot of confidence with the instructor saying "now flat to the floor" as we clipped the apex on some corners, with all 4 tyres screeching, but the car just gripped and gripped. Really pleased with the little MR2. Was still being overtaken by most of the Westfields etc, but overtook an M3 (E36) and a couple of stripped out cars (Golf GTIs etc). Most of the machinery was track specials, including a Lotus Eleven2 and one guy had an NSX Definately use MSE again and looking forward to Llandow
  12. Silver reg ***JAS turning into the garage (I was red MR2) and then a white Supra with female driver spotted driving past when I drove out of the garage
  13. Jon, You need to click on the under 30K option, which strangely is lower on the drop down option list than the above 30K cars, I've done this a couple of times and been confused when I've not received a quote. The quote should be instant online.
  14. Hi Si, pm sent with my details (coming in MR2 this time). Will post cheque tomorrow cheers
  15. found this link on the Net: http://www.diseno-art.com/encyclopedia/archive/gaming_chair.html, but though a proper car seat fixed down so it didn't tip up would be better. You can also buy them: http://gameracer.co.uk/SearchResult.aspx?CategoryID=26
  16. Am thinking of making a driving game seat to play Forza etc. So am looking for a suitable car seat (ideally with runners/subframe), which I may be able to do something with. cheers
  17. Jamie, this is the funniest thing I've ever read on here. Made me seriously LOL :d:d:d:d:d
  18. Hi razza - still no luck. Saw Simon last night at the Fairmile BBQ. Hope you sell it mate
