JB - my Brother wants to come along with his girlfriend (both as spectators), driving his own car as they may only stay a while. He's a member on here (dr_chris), but not sure if he's fully paid up etc. Is this OK?

There's a cool sounding job on our company website for a business strategy type role liaising between the US and UK, based in Washington DC. I'm going to put an application in for it, but was wondering if anyone's got any experience of DC? cheers

Anyone recommend a good one? Had a Halfords digital one but it broke on the third use in Germany, so got my money back and don't want to bother trying another one (guy in shop said they'd had loads of them back with the same problem) Want to get one for all the track days in October

My mate was in this situation and decided that contracting was better as he only had a one month notice period anyway and contract jobs are usually longer. Luckily, considering the current uncertainty, I'm on 3 months notice, so moving to another job takes a lot of careful consideration...

Just read this and a few things from my perspective: 1. Agree with the metal fans - love my metal 2. When I was at Univrsity in Bath, my mates and I used to go to non-student pubs/clubs and lots of people were surprised we were students as they thought we were 'townies' ie town folk not students, so I agree with Wikipedia 3. LOL (is that chav?) at michael's posts 4. Did not understand Coolsblues post in reponse to michael's post
