    I would expect to get 300 miles on a tank, costing £75 (What's the point getting one if you're going to be light with your right foot?) My TT gets 240 if I'm being spirited, so guess an NA will be a bit better. Tyres are £100 - £150 each and rears last me approx 8000 miles, fronts 12000 Service with 5 litres decent fully synthetic oil, currently £12 per litre, every 5000 miles or so, Parts such as wheel bearings etc cost quite a lot (£120 for the bearing and £100 for the hub + fitting)

    Probably try to bury it. I had a 1.6 Focus for work last week, averaged 32mpg on the motorway (sensible driving). Absolute crap to drive, screaming revs, no power and rubbish economy. I can get 25mpg at the same speed on the motorway in the Supra over the same distance

    I see what you're saying, but I think you mean that electrical goods are designed with a certain life expectancy, either in terms of hours or number of on/off cycles. Things are not designed to have 'built in faults', but are built at a price to make them affordable and also to ensure that there is a future market for the next generation/iteration of the technology, or companies would go out of business

    There's a function called DSUM which IIRC does something along the lines of what you want

    I think that TTC can lead to a boost spike which you don't get from normal sequential mode, as all the boost is coming in at once and overwhelms the wastegate, rather than being controlled properly. I expect that the boost would drop back down, but you've already boost cut when it goes over 1.0Bar

    Not too far. I usually drive through Frenchay and Cleeve Hill and work my way across to Wick, but can easily go ring road

    First off I saw Rich8v's red UK spec on the Bristol ring road, so went the same way to say hi. Then I saw a silver (or possibly light blue) with TRD CF rear wing at the Bridgeyate double mini-roundabouts. Only just saw you before I went off through Wick
