  1. Personally I would always go with OEM. With the work it is to change for example the oil pump, you don’t want to be doing it again anytime soon.
  2. Unfortunately due to my new house purchase I haven’t had any time to use the car as I’ve been cracking on. Still have a load of new OEM parts to fit just getting round to it is another thing! One plus tho, I’ve finally got my garage that I have wanted for years. Built last week and I gave it a paint over the weekend, still need to do power, lighting, doors and flooring then it can finally be sitting away from the wind and rain I had to take pictures for my insurance agreed value, so gave it a clean and took it out for a run.....put a smile on my face driving it again
  3. Fitted mine in the same place, works a treat. See post #42. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?343049-Rob-W-s-Supra-Project-Thread-*-Pic-Heavy-*/page3
  4. I was abit confused by that, I’ve got the gist that they ain’t for some strange reason!

    Dash paint

Plasti-kote in Matt black. Refurbed all my dash panels with using this stuff for the top coat and came out very well.
  6. I was thinking the same, I thought all models had these front speaker boxes. The rear GZ speaker boxes do make a difference.
  7. I fitted a Pioneer SPH-DA130DAB the other week to replace my older Pioneer head unit. Great but if kit for the price, DAB works spot on with the window aerial as well which I was pleased about as I had my OEM radio aerial removed and welded a couple of years ago.
  8. Slightly off topic... Collected the UK car back from the bodyshop I always use and trust this morning. Done a great job, really happy how it came out. I noticed slight painted bubbling on the bottom of the front wings which was due to dirt/crud trapped under by the front hockey sticks, also the rear hatch had rust starting in the common bottom corner. Luckily enough when the front wings were removed, chassis underneath only had slight surface rust what was taken back, treated and painted. Parts painted:- Front bumper. Front wings. Bonnet. Rear hatch. Full cut and polish. He stated he didn’t need to go mad with the mop as the paintwork was in really good condition anyway. Got a set of OEM facelift front indicators to put on as the current have gone milky and look awful.
  9. As above, facelift version are available. I bought a full set a few months back.
  10. Well done mate, I totally over looked them. 90311-57001 x 2. 90311-63001 x 2. I'll get on to TCB and get them ordered
  11. Had the MOT done few weeks ago, all fine except slight play in the rear O/S wheel bearing. Made a call to TCB and a couple weeks later my bits arrived. Great service again from TCB, and half the time they quoted. New OEM suspension bolts, nuts and washers. New OEM rear hub flanges. New OEM rear hub bushes. New OEM wheel bearing dust deflectors. New Pattern part rear wheel bearings. I went with the pattern part wheel bearings, but thinking about it now maybe I should of gone OEM!
  12. The A.C fan sits in front of the condenser radiator.
  13. I use Paul @ TCB parts, always get the best prices from him over the years.
  14. Yep, had the same thing happen to me with the top rad neck going brittle and cracking. I replaced with the radiator supplied by TCB parts, running on both cars and no issues on either at all. That’s with a Blitz 4” 3 row FMIC in front of it on one of them.
  15. You don’t need to buy a new 1st cat/decat, just swap the exhaust control valve over from your current set of turbos.
  16. Just the exhaust control valve what bolts up to the 1st cat.
  17. I remember when getting my custom B6 Bilsteins from CW, he stated that they do drop the car slightly lower then stock shocks. I fitted mine with mine with Eibach springs, bet never noticed a massive difference compared to the stock shocks with the Eibach’s. Ended up changing them out for my KW V3’s in the end which are a far better road set up IMO.
  18. I’ll take both cats delivered please.
  19. After having my new V5C come through the door, I finally got round to fitting the new plate. Took abit of time with it making sure it was straight and dead centre. Still not sure on the cut down plate look
  20. Painstakingly slow, bending them straight using different sizes off adjustable spanners. You can never reverse the damage of bent jacking points, just make me most of what you can. Had it all rust treated etc and no surface rust has re-appeared back as of yet.
  21. Had another batch of parts arrive from Paul at TCB Parts, efficient service as usual. Just need to sort out removing the old bushes from my spare rear subframe now, then get it sent off to be treated and sprayed.
