    New wheels

Top pic (Ibrar's old car) is a photoshop so don't let that lead you BBS style for a stock supra by the way, or some Lexus GS300 ones
  2. I'm waiting to get my Racing Hart's refurbed so will need the Ultralites for a few more weeks - waiting on a day off to get them to Ibrar. Will give them a good clean up and see how they look and will have a think about the price further. Will be in touch
  3. Mine will be up for sale soon, straight and i think they're in decent condition (will give them a wash). 18x8.5 and 18x9.5, polished lips and black centres. Tyres are ok tread wise and have Falkens on at the min already. Would be after about £600 for them with tyres, think they're about £800+ new without tyres aren't they? Let me know if you're interested
  4. Was there not a restriction on the sizes of these with brake set ups? Always like these wheels too

    Car insurance

I've just renewed on my 2001 Golf V6 4Motion, present insurer wanted £740 which is only £400 less than the single turbo supra. Went with Admiral who wanted £458, some quotes were £1000+, one company wanted £6kish!
  6. I've replaced mine in the past but it was a right pain getting it to stay sealed down. Kept coming off at speed.
  7. I had a text today saying they were being packaged up...
  8. Michel Lane has them on his white and red cars, i think they look great if they're properly blended in. Need the right skirts and wheels to pull it off though
  9. Do it! Still waiting to start the plan you very kindly gave me Shouldn't be long!
  10. TBH a ban for this is a bit too far. Although Rooney is a bit of a tool and his swearing didn't seem to make sense, you hear swearing quite a lot during footy games, pitchside mic does collect this stuff. I agree that footballers don't have an obligation to be role models either. Emotions and passion were obviously running high and overpaid footballers are usually quick to be criticized for NOT showing their emotions. His apology should have meant the end of it. Now i'm off to kill myself for feeling sorry for Wayne Rooney. Goodbye.
  11. Sorry Si, not had a chance to look, away to a wedding at the minute, will it be ok if I have a look on Monday when I'm back?
  12. Might have one Simon, will have a rummage tomorrow
  13. I've had a text off Darrett explaining his wife has had a stroke so he's in the hospital every day at the minute. He said he'll try and get online tonight to see what's happening. If he can't confirm the status, he said he'll issue refunds.
  14. Have the car back at the minute, will add pics of the calipers once my wheels come off for refurb, pretty self explanatory though Bump
  15. I'm having a clear out top to bottom so there's a few odds and sods I could do with getting rid of, will add photos later on for items that aren't self explanatory. Putting this thread up now just before sod's law strikes and someone buys something they could have from below. Need the items out pretty quick (within 1-2 weeks), they'll be in the skip otherwise 1. 26" Panasonic Widescreen TV - had this at uni, about 9 years old, still works. Has Scart sockets on the rear and video and audio components on the front. Has a remote control, the front panel cover is missing. Will add it if it turns up. Free to collect 2. Sony Playstation 2 with control pad and any games I have (GT4, Pro Evo and a few others I'll list when I unbox them) £25 + P&P 3. XBox (1st Gen) with control pad, dvd remote and Halo, WWE Raw Vs Smackdown £25 o.n.o + P&P 4. Oak Vaneer & Granite Coffee Table Was originally £300 but was used as a hallway table. Only selling as i'm trying to unclutter my hallway! Will add a picture later £80 Collection only due to size 5. Single Bed from John Lewis. Rarely used as was a spare in a bedroom i'm now turning into a music room. Picture to follow later tonight Unsure on price at the minute as i'll have to find it's details, will add later on. Collection only
  16. Didn't he have an engine problem with this recently? Was one of my favourite supras before the pink bits appeared
  17. Last PM I had (21/03/11) said "Hey bud, Lights have now been booked with courier. I'll have the tracking number in the morning/tonight and will txt/pm it over. Thanks"
  18. The mobile number I have doesn't seem to be working either...
  19. It depends on what you class as "bad for you". If you have a lazy eye as AJI was adhering to then 3D vision is reduced or non existent if suppression of a weak eye is involved. I'm not sure I agree with the statements in the article, i'm not sure if the message is being lost in the quotations but the accommodation and vergence stuff is a bit off. At distance, eyes are generally straight (there can be a slight convergent deviation which is called an esophoria) or a slight divergent deviation called an exophoria and others the more rare vertical deviations. The binocular fusion system controls this using eye muscles and this stops any issues. If some people have larger deviations then it's more prone to strain and breaking which is why some people have prisms. So vergence wise, if the eyes are working properly, the vergence for looking at a distant target should be insignificant. As 3D object appear to come out from the screen, then the eyes might converge slightly but this tends to be more within half a metre as you could for reading - eyes point inwards which is convergence again. The whole world is 3D though so you could argue that this applies to everything. The accommodation side of it is strange too - at distance, unless you're longsighted, then the eyes won't be accommodating. They will only do that when targets come closer and will do that while linked with convergence, that's if you're following them close to you. Nothing different from whether you were playing football and you were looking at the ball coming at your head. The issues with 3D that i've heard is then objects appear artificially 3D and are off the primary axis of gaze but this could just cause headaches. I'm not keen on 3D stuff as it always looks slightly blurred to me and I associate that with the off axis and motion side of it. I've seen it referred to as a "health risk" but i don't know if I'd go that far, if your binocular fusion system is slightly weak then it'll just be hard to watch and make your eyes tired. That's what I've picked up anyway
  20. Got one here in the North East too but it's not exactly close and it's not a TT
  21. Happy birthday dude P.S. Screw you all
