  1. Yeh I'd go built SRD auto with extra coolers if I wanted big power from my TT auto... my N/A 5 is going in for an M3 6 speed swap in a couple weeks so will be interesting to see what that's like!

    Clutch

    Which gearbox?
  3. Market prices are quite broad, depends what you're happy letting it go at

    Camshafts

Had a look at whifbitz or SRD stage 1 cams?
  5. Hmmm I'm sure some PC wizadry could make it work with Links or Syvecs

    2JZ blocks

Yeah that's what I meant, sorry!

    2JZ blocks

GE vvti blocks are weaker. GE non vvti has the same crank/rods, pistons are a different shape on top but are interchangeable. Just don't have oil squirters which is a debate on its own, depends what power you aim for
  8. I did the Peak District in my Supra 2 weekends ago, loved it!!
  9. It will take the power, it's driveability without a hi stall I believe as youre effectively n/a until the boost comes in at 3500rpm for example
  10. The NA6/A03 has a ratio of 3.26 vs the 3.76 A02
  11. Good numbers but NA6 diffs arent easy to get hold of tho! A02 would probably work nicely too
  12. ZF8hp is whats supposed to be used in the new Supra right?
  13. Could be boost controller set up.. or boost creep? My TT auto on low boost on the BC is 1.0 bar, fine in first and second but in third it will creep to 1.1 or 1.15 which I need to investigate. I have noticed the weather makes a difference too

    Audi S5

Can you budget stretch to the V6T? I'm sure these had the valve issues around the 80k+ miles. I haven't had a S5 but the S4 as I wanted 4 doors and the engine is soooo much nicer to drive with the S-Tronic. Brakes can be quite pricey too in comparison
  16. It was on eBay earlier for £18k, not there anymore but said it was in Basingstoke
  17. Hi, As the title says, after an A02 or A03 LSD! Thanks,
  18. I believe the drive in/out cost from stock is around £12-14k once you have bought the gearbox and diff, as the auto ratio is 3.7 and needs coming down to around 3.1 iirc I also have a TT auto and would like a modern auto gearbox (as good as the Supra box is more gears and faster changes are needed). But have you looked at a mid-size fast spooling single with a 3200 hi stall? SRD do built auto boxes at a decent price.
  19. Interested, look forward to seeing pics. What colour is it?
  20. What a ballache ..maybe that's why the 2 owners split up if the company was running like that? I'm due to get work done by the person who left and set up his own place... Fingers crossed
