  1. Has anyone actually confirmed that there will be a mk5? A quick google search whilst on the toilet just leads me to 2 year old articles speculating how big to engine might be.
  2. Surely this thing is worth no more than 6k? It would cost the difference just to fix the thing.
  3. Did is sell? It's. I longer on eBay
  4. The buy it now price is a joke right?
  5. I'll have the inter cooler popework.
  6. As per the title. I'll hunt around BMW forums when I get the chance. (EDIT:Nevermind, E46 forums seem to be dead) I'm in no particular rush for this but I don't see many online for sale. Can collect from Kent or just outside of Kent Will pay postage from anywhere else. Payment via PayPal or bank transfer is fine with me.
  7. Oh I do love gillingham. Guy I knew got mugged for his cheeseburger there. Then mugged again later on. Lovely place really
  8. I've got someone down here in medway. Might be a little far for you though. Not to mention I don't know the guy, someone else sorted it for me. Only did it cause I needed someone to overlook the defatted exhaust
  9. Just went past an older guy in a silver supra, waiting to turn right towards the high street. Veilside skirts I think? Not sure if you saw me cause I just turned off, you should have been able to hear me though!
  10. I was hoping for some reassurance about the engine. There are a few about with new subframes, although they arent exactly what I was after. Not many people are mentioning rust in their adverts either.
  11. Hello everyone. I'm now in a position to replace my boring little daily driver with something else I would much prefer, which is an E46 330. Another member on here has already given his (positive) view on the car. I just want to know if anyone else has any comments regarding the cars reliability, especially on one with around 100k miles. I have seen multiple ones with 70k-80k within my budget but they were not what I was looking for. I'm aware of the rusting wheel arch situation. I've been told to be weary of subframe issues but how solid is the engine at higher miles? One particular car going for £3750 has 130k on the clock, and I very much like this one. Is there anything in particular that should be a red flag for one of these, such as not having a water pump changed recently etc?
  12. I've never heard mixed reviews regarding getting an na-t conversion done, they've always been very positive . I think you're looking at like 5k though.
  13. What did you manage to snatch it for in the end?
  14. If you're considered to be too high of a risk they won't even bother. ive been refused quotes on certain cars before simply because of my age, and the ones that did quote me, quoted a silly price so they wouldn't have to deal with me From their point of view, even if they. Charge you an insanely high premium. They still believe you're likely to cause an accident, which could cost thousands. It's not worth their time time quote people who they believe will crash
  15. No reason not to store it. With the way prices are going you won't pick up another one for what you sell it for.
  16. It's a shame you didn't sign up sooner I guess. You've missed out on a few really good cars that were in the single turbo budget. Always more to come though.
  17. I don't know what power figures na-t puts out. Depends on what you spend I guess. I think the whifbitz turbo kit is claiming 360bhp up to 500 with additional work or something. Pretty much all the tt's are bpu so you're looking at at least 400bhp. A member I spoke to said his made 407bhp at 1.1 bar. I think the power for a single will depend on the turbo and mapping, of course its higher than TT power anyway. I'd seriously recommend picking up a tt or single if you can afford it. If you're worried about losing control cause of the power, don't. Common sense and good tyres will keep you safe.
  18. Na. These things change price constantly so buy what you can afford (providing it's a clean car of course. What kind of power jump will this be from your current car?
  19. I saw idiot in red supra and panicked a little then lol

    New member.

I suppose it's all down to preference, as well as how much you plan to do to the car. For example if you want a stock looking black supra the. You'd be best to wait for a good example to crop up. If you plan on body mods and colour changes then find an example that's closest to what you want. Remember to get a good look st the underside of course. I'll still defend my opinion that you should pick up an na and work with that. Just over a year ago you'd fine an na manual for under 5k, you won't find an an auto for that now. Supra prices rise but those turbo kits will stay the same.

A lot of the time people tell you to just save up and buy a car that is already a TT. But with prices rising the way they are I'd grab something while you can and work with that.

    Which one

Thanks for the review mate. Looks like I'll get my money's worth if I go on the hunt for a well like led after one then

May I ask what your opinion on the 330ci was? I'm considering getting one to replace my daily providing insurance doesn't rob me.
  24. Ah, how did I miss this. Thanks mate.
