  1. No loss of performance that I've noticed. However the car revving so low does make it seem a bit lumpy getting off the line. If the weather is fine later I may take the car out and pay closer attention to how its running.
  2. Thanks for the quick responses as usual guys. Most of you are suggesting engine mounts/gearbox mounts which is something I suspected. I would hope it is this as I believe it's the cheapest fix if I'm not mistaken. The shaking has been a sudden change. Could someone also explain why bad mounts would affect the rpm though? As for the dash rattling, I'll have to double check when I'm home. Although now that you mention it I have heard a few vibrations here and there for a while
  3. As the title explains my car is shaking when I come to a stop. It's also dropping it's revs to about 600rpm. Cold starts just fine, also runs fine when moving. It's a TT auto. Only modification that's been made recently is a fmic. However this occurred before my battery died and the fmic was done while it was charging so I doubt this is contributing. The car had essentially been sitting for about a month. It did this one time before my battery died and the car was sat for two weeks after. Did t have much fuel in it, so is it possible for the fuel system to have suffered some damage due to bad fuel? I've been looking at a few possibilities for this and to be honest I just wanna know the worst case scenario in terms of cost. Thanks EDIT: just a little update. The shaking and low revving has now stopped. Car pulls just fine. Can't explain that but thanks for the responses guys. I'll no doubt be back when it starts doing it again the next time I think I've finally got everything working 100% on this thing
  4. Too dark to tell what colour it is, most likely black though. Small spolier on The back. I've seen a few supras round this area but never bother to find out if they're members
  5. It's not that spoilers aren't worth a lot, it's just the veilside stuff. Hence why they are taking the piss just a bit Veilside is the less popular stuff I'm afraid and almost nobody wants it. For example I have VS side skirts, which will eventually be coming off, and when they do they are going in the skip.
  6. It's been on the car since I got it so I'll have to take a look through my paperwork to find out. That's assuming I have anything relating to it. If not I'll be able to find out after removing it.
  7. I already have a SMIC. I just have some spare cash laying around and really fancy having a front mount on. Would also give me something to do on a sunday.
  8. Do you have any of these in stock? If so I'll take one.
  9. Ah well if only I had known it was that simple. Luckily enough I have plenty of silicon tubes around.
  10. To be fair I was just hoping for a kit that would prevent the air box being an obstacle.
  11. That will be my plan. Just more of a hassle for me lol. Then again I guess if I speak to a trader about it and mention I'll have a stock airbox they'll have a good idea about what pipework I'll need anyway. Thanks anyway guys.
  12. Well that's a shame. Owning a UK spec seems to be a bit of a pain...
  13. Hey guys. I'm wanting to get myself a front mount intercooler on the car. Since the stock air box is an obstruction I need to replace it but I can't find a kit for a UK spec. The things I have found specifically mention that they are not for UK or VVTI's, I wouldn't know why this is but I wont question it. Can anyone point me in the right direction? (assuming they do exist) Thanks.
  14. I think trump is the lesser of two evils here. I also have a MAGA hat and it's going to go to waste if he loses.
  15. Ah my bad. Don't hold it for me mate I'll just keep an eye out if you do decide to sell
  16. Not far then. Would it be possible to collect on Sunday?
  17. Whereabouts in essex are you? If you're not too far I'd be interested.
  18. Im not fantastic at problem finding mate. Are there any symptoms I can look out for without taking them off first as I won't have time to do it for a while. I have my suspicions that it's the first one though
  19. I'd assume use ones aren't much cheaper which is what I'm really after. Guess the refurb option will be better for me, thanks mate
  20. Looks like one of turbo seals have gone, and I'm weighing up going for a rebuild or buying another turbo. Anyone got any idea the price for a uk spec turbo is right now? I can't find any for sale anywhere. Figured I'd post here before making a fool of myself in the sales section.
  21. The delay is probably shorter than the delay you'd get by manually shifting gears with a stick. And I do believe all cars with paddle shifters let you choose between manual shifting or auto.
  22. I'll take them. PM me you're paypal address, assuming thats how you want to be paid.

    Hello club

Not sure if you have to ask in the technical part of the forum for any issues, can't remember what the rules are. You might need to pay the membership fee to have access to the technical part of the forum, worth it though.
  24. Oh jesus. Thats almost dipping into TT6 territory...
