  1. Interesting read and can't believe 100k and 5 Years down the line there is no update of this car being completed and back in the UK being enjoyed??
  2. I really like the new TT, I think Audi have improved the shape and drive compared to the previous version. I love this concept TT the front end really stands out... I would imagine it's going to be very high end price tag though so a used R8 may be a similar price so think most would go used R8?
  3. I know he was fuming!! The annoying thing is he's so not a 'boy racer' and generally lost control from lack of experience and whilst been massively shaken up by the fact he'd just crashed after 6 months of driving the last thing he needed was some moron calling him to say you've had an accident due to poor driving...
  4. Chris, avoid the black box idea, my cousin had one for his first year as it was a very large saving (same scenario as someone has mentioned already) he was driving home from work one evening about 12:30am and he slipped in the rain on a roundabout he got a call within two seconds saying he had been driving dangerous and lost control and was told to contact them the next day. When he did they said they have reviewed his driving style and due to his hard accelerations and heavy braking style they will have to re-start the insurance with a very large increase in premium... They are not worth the saving mate, they can see everything the car does!!!! The civic seems like a great choice for a first car and I would 100% say get some quotes with dad/mum on as a second driver as this can make a large difference. I went on sisters insurance as a second driver on her cooper s when she first passed and it dropped by £800. Try admiral multi car if mum/dad happy to put some of the other cars on there? I've just done a re-quote for me & wife on our multi car and they have done the Supra with both of us driving (with the few mods declared) for £340 and her new A4 for £260 so might be worth a punt if you can?
  5. Sorry mate became really busy this avo! I'll work out a staff deal tomorrow and I'll PM you a quote over
  6. Yeah this is a issue as I struggled to keep up with a fiesta ST the other day luckily we found some bends and roundabouts where I could get the distance from him lol... Fingers crossed Toyota will bring out a more powerful turbo version as an option at some point! Yeah I am getting old at only 31 lol... plus the rear end is a bugga to judge!
  7. I was having this conversation with someone the other day Chris after going out in John's and telling them about his beast, he was saying yeah but roughly how much has he spent so I said what John reckons he has spent on it, he was like thats crazy to spend that on a Supra.... I broke it down that his Supra could beat any supercar and owes him only slightly more then a new GT86 think I know where my 20-30k would rather be spent!!!
  8. Well I wouldn't say its too much when compared to the list price but agreed it may sound a lot for a GT but here is list price to compare it against! New £25000 Custom Leather £1600 Parking Sensors £295 Arm Rest £150 Mirror Caps (Stickers) £120 (Crazy expensive, I didn't know they where stickers when ordered them) Pearl White £650 Total New £27815 so £5880 saving for only 6000 Miles isn't a bad price!!
  9. Or alternatively if he would rather not spend money on a brand new one, I will leave this one here for him to ponder on? This is my current company car which is the Standard GT86 with Customer Leather, Red Interior to match, Arm Rest, Rear Parking sensors & carbon mirror caps (Stickers) in Pearl White!!! http://usedcars.lancasterrayleigh.toyota.co.uk/Lancaster-Toyota-Rayleigh/Rayleigh-/604758016-1323229.aspx Ignore the mileage on there it needs to be changed, it's currently at 6000 miles. This is up at £22995 but owes me £21835 so would be happy to do that on the same cost plus £100. Ideally tho my new one doesn't arrive until June
  10. Lol... He's one of my closets friends! Small world hey... So I also get the same pleasures as yourself and get to drive and test every car he gets on review, the pleasure is I give my feedback on all of them and have to write zero haha!!
  11. Do you know a Ian Robertson from DieselCar magazine?
  12. Yeah I'm looking forward to getting my new Aero getting a bit bored of the standard ones now lol... What is it you do then Gaz? What car you got at the Mo? Jason, what spec is he looking at the Primo, Standard or Aero? any options he is thinking of?
  13. Cost + £100 on a new one Same deal I give my Staff lol... When do I expect to see you Gaz
  14. Being a Manager for a Toyota dealership I get to choose my company car and have had GT86's since launch day, yes they are underpowered but they are smashing fun to drive, they go round bends at any speed and come out the other side without any problems and if you really want to have fun you can turn off all computer controlled stability which is great fun!! I've had every colour currently available and have just ordered my shiny new 2016 Model GT Aero in Red yes the wing is a bit oversized for the car but it's something different and reminds me a bit of the TRD Supra wing so I thought what the hell... I've always chosen the 'Custom' leather option which is comfy and looks great with the diamond red cross stitching. I really don't understand why people have a major dislike for them when they go and spend the same money on a Focus and in fact you can pick up a year old one (we've sold a good few) for the same money a new Fiesta 1.0 Ecoboost I think I know which one I would rather own...

Looking forward to watching the progress going to be a stunning car as you improve on what already looks stunning! Bet you can't wait to actually get her home and start playing
  17. Well after a 'very' slow drive home in my boring BPU, thanks for that John!!! (hope she runs a good time a pod today) Was good meet last night and nice to meet another new face already looking forward to next outing!!
  18. Cheers Abz that is what I thought the plan was but no one had actually confirmed 100% we where moving the date... See you next week at BW
  19. I would love to have the money to own it... FnF is one of the only reasons I feel in love with the Supra as kid and wanted one ever since the film!! It might not be the 'style' of today but still looks good.
  20. Gents, What's the plans for this? are we moving the date or risking road closures ect??
  21. Yeah it has been a poor show from me for April but that to one side that is one disgusting image in my head of you two teabag'in my car!!!! On a side topic I've finally got my car back again after 3 weeks sitting in the workshop [emoji36][emoji36] was lovely going for a drive last night [emoji4]
  22. I'd be up for this, date depending. Although mine is right at the beginning and in need of a lot of TLC be nice to know my starting figure
