  1. I'm heading up this wednesday after work (work at wilton) and will be setting off from there at half 6, more than welcome to head up with me,
  2. I'm running a bit behind, might be best just to meet you all at croft? Im not showing my i10 anyway
  3. bump, just want front and rear hockey sticks now
  4. best bring a coat then, should make the racing more interesting, i won't name names but some supra owners may run off at the first sight of rain like at 10 of the best i was soaked after that day,

    NA-T vs TT

might take a look at my 02 sensors but car seems to run fine, i don't think i'd do 4000 miles a month, maybe 2000 which would work out at around 10mpg which i guess a 3 litre twin turbo would get when used hard. i want to get use of the car whilst its summer and then take it off the road in winter

I went from a suzuki jimny quite heavily modified for off road use with low ratio transfer box big mud tyres etc etc, its over a foot higher than a standard jimny, not a performance car in anyway shape or form with a high powered 82bhp at my right foot to a Twin turbo supra i'd only been driving just over 2 years had my supra a year now i think the supra is a relatively easy car to drive and very stable at speed and through the bends and i drive mine ALOT and try stay away from dual carriage ways and stay to moor roads twisty and bumpy makes it alot more fun i wouldn't worry about the jump up just need to have respect for the car and just drive within your limits, i do find the supra a very confidence inspiring car and like to drive it what i would call hard fuel consumption is high though, i spend on average around 12-1500 a month on my fuel, but like i said i drive mine alot and hard
  7. hello and welcome! as marc says i'm from skelton, may have seen me around in a white supra? might be getting replaced with a white r32 but we will see theres a few others kicking around our area i try plod up to the weekly meets up newcastle once a month if you want to tag along with me, or we are off to croft on saturday to the time attack if you fancy that?
  8. I've got 3 cup holders and a passenger in the i10 so could carry the coffees to croft if needs be or take out the ash tray and use the hole it leaves i find that a good drinks holder
  9. I'd be up for it anytime, during the week is probably best if free, as most of the are quiet, one of the best things for me about working shifts getting up mid week on a sunny day! well when my cars back on the road
  10. I'm remove my name from this for now untill work out if i can get my car sorted or if its staying
  11. I may not be there in the supra due to issues, Pop along in the i10 if needs be but have no intention of putting that on a club stand
  12. I love the blakey ridge road just need to resurface the end near hutton-le-hole and it would be even better! if you are ever up that way again for a morning run i'd be up for a run out over the moors!
  13. I'm fitting a new gearbox and bpu parts this week, if my cars now running okay i'll most likely have a go on the track, I think croft have a hire scheme £10 fee with a £50 deposit, dont know if this is available at this event though
  14. Tickets are available on the gate at a price of £10 http://www.timeattack.co.uk/product/petrol-pistons-show-croft-saturday-22nd-august-2015/
  15. cheers for organising yesterday, was nice to get out and meet some new faces
  16. I'll come to this, what time will the day start? i'm night shift the night before but i'm sure loud cars on a dyno will keep me awake
  17. I'm trying to get up to a weekly meet once a month (can be a bit expensive driving up when I'm always running late and using the loud pedal) and then as many local events as I can even if I don't think my cars really show ready. Its nice to get out and meet some local owners
  18. hello and welcome to the forum, as others have said i'm also your age (22 i'm guessing by your name?) and purchased mine last august, and cost me a small fortune since but i wouldnt change it I daily mine over the summer months and plan to garage it come october so its not impossible but i will admit i spend half my monthly wage on petrol, but i like the loud pedal good luck with your hunt
  19. should be fine what time we thinking? shame I have to drive past my turn off for croft to then come back on myself
  20. She ended up going for a snooze in the car and left me to be the idiot to stand in the downpour, but i was getting my moneys worth
