1. Try parcel force large. I'm sure their max is 2.5m
2. Paisley freight ship exhausts for £22 iirc
3. Well that's good news. Mine have signs of the dreaded rust starting. Yeah I only bought a cheap rear quarter, then trimmed to fit what I needed. I need to pull my finger out as its still in primer
4. Good work! Rotten in the same place as mine. What condition are your chassis legs in?
5. As Marc says there's nowt wrong with chrome. When I pull my finger out and paint my stock 17s and get tyres I will probably refurb the Rays next winter. The centres have started to corrode and the dishes could use a polish. I was thinking either gold or bronze centres. Nothing set in stone though. Haven't really looked into re chroming but I would guess it's expensive.
6. Thanks to Andrew K I ordered myself a pair of these: These are the rubbers that sit either end of the scuttle panel and keep the scuttle pressed against the windscreen. Didn't get a picture fitted but they do work! Attended a E85 meet with some of the northeast supra bunch at the weekend. After a while we got asked to move, for more pictures. This picture alone has convinced me the splitter is staying black. With the weather being good and me being bored I decided to wax the car. I used tamz gold carnuba wax. An awesome product that is massively under rated. He won the best quick detailed review on car throttle. Well worth a look at his products. Just a local lad taking on the detailing giants! https://www.carthrottle.com/post/what-are-the-best-car-washing-products-for-lazy-people/ http://www.tamzvehicledetailing.com/ The results: Looked great. Then 10 minutes later.... Massive thunder and lightning storm which blew over quickly. This is England!
7. Pull the door seal out of the runner, then about 12 screws.
8. I personally like mercedes obsidian black, has a light metallic fleck in. Looks great on my dads c220d
9. Pretty sure I've got one. I will check tonight.
10. Rare isotta katiena steering wheel, comes with slim snap off boss (a normal aftermarket boss will be required). A few marks on the horn push but other than that excellent condition. £140 Posted ono.
11. We went to Windermere via a66 then some naughty back roads over the m6. Then up to Penrith via kirkstone pass and ullswater. Then hartside up to Hexham. 200mile round trip. The roads where amazing. But ruined by Sunday drivers, cyclists and a bus on kirkstone! The views where amazing though.
12. So the other week me and a few friends went for a drive to the lakes. And on the way back went via hartside pass. Some of the best driving roads in the country! Picked the perfect day for it too. http://i298.photobucket.com/albums/mm261/jonny_106/AE266FE7-78FC-4B19-8474-82F968DC307E_zps7xtar78g.jpg[/img

<a href=http://i298.photobucket.com/albums/mm261/jonny_106/D47121D1-CAB9-4638-9FA4-CF40315BE12D_zpst1xqbm6f.jpg' alt='D47121D1-CAB9-4638-9FA4-CF40315BE12D_zpst1xqbm6f.jpg'> Went to a local midweek meet too. And I eventually got my new lip fitted. And I must say I'm liking the black apposed to white.
13. Well I haven't updated in a while. Basically I wanted my doors and bonnet to have a fresh coat of paint, parts stripped off and given to my painter. A week goes by and I pop in to see him and his compressor shit itself. Pressure switch malfunctioned which lead to the compressor over pressurising and blowing a load of oil out. So another week goes by, no paint. The following week I offered him to borrow my compressor. Anyway he painted the parts and they look awesome. (No pictures) Whilst the car was in bits my new gauge faces arrived from metal monkey via noz. Managed to fit them without disturbing the calibration too. TRD style Whist I changed the dials I changed my LEDs back to stock 501 bulbs in the gauges. The dimmer switch didn't work afterwards which I didn't think much of. Out on a drive a few days later I felt something hit me on the knee but couldn't see anything. Parked up. On the return journey I though I will just try that dimmer switch, went to touch it and the knob was missing (what hit me on the knee) I proceeded to touch the dimmer and it was like touching the end of a soldering iron. It was red hot. The dash surrounding it was red hot. Managed to pull over and strip the dash out to find the dimmer switch had started to melt itself. So I guess I got very lucky. Could of easily been a dash fire. I've since fitted a new switch which works, I've left the dash panel off to monitor the temperature (which is cold) Anyway fast forward to this weekend. Fresh tank of fuel, I took a friend out in the car who had never been in a supra. Anyway abit of spirited driving later and boom. Splitter disintegrated from a slight crack under speed. The remains Not only that but it managed to split the bumper along the inner edge where the under arch bolts in. So it looks like I'm gonna order one of these. All perfect timing as me and my lass have just bought our first house.
14. Mine aren't too bad. You can get replacement weld in sections for them. The body work on yours looks very clean! My 10th anniversary edition (1999) just had 2 rear quarters and inner quarters.
15. I personally wouldn't bother taking my mx5 to Croft. The tracks too big and fast for an mx5. Teesside is good for mx5s as its quite technical. On another note your mx looks very clean. Have you checked the front chassis legs for rot/delamination?
16. I run hankook v12's. For a reasonable priced tyre I'm very happy with them. I used them on a trackdays recently and the grip level in the dry was brilliant. Not bad in the wet either.
17. Not necessarily, I've had 2 P reg supras, tt6 and tt auto. Neither where vvti. R reg usually have vvti.
18. If your going for an mx5 a mk1 eunos or a mk2 special edition are the ones to go for. I have a mk2 10th anniversary edition (10ae). It came with a torson diff, 6speed and bilsteins as standard. Also the mk2 engines have abit more get up and go. My 10ae cost £300. Sat for 2 years before I got it. Spend a few weekends welding, new discs and pads and an oil change. Been on 2 trackdays now, kicked it's head in and it's been nothing but reliable.
19. Where did you get these mate? Mine also appear to be missing.
20. Please stop! I'm so jealous of all the work you've done haha
21. I can confirm this works. I wedged a breaker bar on under the chassis leg, one flick of the key with the fuel pump fuse out and it was loose.
22. Hair sprays better to use as it drys sticky
