importcarparts is my local go to parts place. I would have no concerns at all buying from them. They import their wares straight from japan and alot of the time (if not all ) they can get anything quicker than the main stealers. I'm saving for a 6 speed from them

I did that, the arc went in through the base of my thumb and out through my elbow where I was leaning on the cars slam panel. Couldn't feel or move my arm for about half an hour. I scared the crap out of myself thinking I'd paralysed it -

I was surprised when he said the mileage is all miles and was converted when it was imported, with a certificate to prove. I'll have to ask more questions I think. I asked for some more photo's and he was a bit blunt and said the pictures on the auction shows ever aspect of the car and he wouldn't be taking any more. Thanks for the hints Dunk, that'll give me some more to go at. I'm a little reluctant to travel so far for a car after previous nightmare experiences so I may just have to keep waiting and watching

If you can start the car with the alarm activated i would be worried! Who fitted it? It sounds like it needs ripping out. Can you follow the wiring back to the alarm?
