  1. Thanks for the heads up! I've responded to the CW one.
  2. Hope the OP doesn't mind me hijacking this old thread. I've made some pictures of my stock SMIC. Would it need replacing or is this worth repairing / cleaning up?
  3. Is there an updated list available? I should be on it now

  5. nice! Myself and 'P_bazz' are also going. Maybe we can meet somewhere the 16th and drive together to Calais?
  6. for the turbo sound. Wasn't going very fast though.. Will you be joining this year? I've got threads up on supramkiv.nl and shoarmateam.nl
  7. On a long trip I did once (450km) the only 'problem' was the Cat Temp light started flashing when I was absolutely hammering it at the German Autobahn. (stock-ish TT)
  8. I've done one also. Was my first try, and the result was good enough for me. Paint is the hardest part if you ask me. -Model-Supra-build-1-24

  10. Fuel over here is very expensive as well. Don't know what the price in the UK is now, but I've just done the math and it converts to 6.669 pounds/gallon. (using 1.80 euro/liter) = ( 1.468 pound/liter)
  11. Hi, just want to check something here. Last week I measured the OX1 pin(against GND) just to see if the voltage would be like in the above range. 0.4V - 0.8V I got a value starting (cold) around 0.4V, but once warmed up, it went up to 1.8V on idle with the occasional drop to 1.0V. My question is whether a wideband O2 sensor would have different readings? (Car has piggyback ecu) Or would the values just be lower and higher (0.1V to 1.2V) for example? Don't know whether or not my car already has a wideband sensor, that's why. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
  12. I'm really thinking about joining you lot from Calais, possibly there will be an organised group of Dutch members. Already looking forward to it.
  13. No worries Happy to be here.
  14. Thanks, although I've been around here a little over the past year already.
  15. Just thought I'd give an update here. My Supra has come a long way since I bought it over a year ago. Just finished the dashboard refurb today. It's currently on winter tires which I use the standard rims for. Below are some pictures. upgrades done: - glass headlights - Catback Stainless steel exhaust - new head unit - refurbish dash - nice rims - installed stock BOV (didn't have one) - installed strut bar for the front - new floor mats - facelift clear indicators - Chris wilson SMIC - probably forgot somethings... Still to come: - lot's more I'm sure, but keeping it look stock. Pictures: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/3472574/IMG_5572_online.JPG https://dl.dropbox.com/u/3472574/Dash_refurb1_online.JPG
  16. Had my own little photoshoot with the real car today. Still unmodified, they need some cropping and some filters maybe.
  17. Nice, I've been to Finland. You have some nice roads for the Supra there But do you drive it during winter with spikes?? hope not
  18. http://www.wonderlandmodels.com/products/tamiya-124-toyota-supra/ http://www.hobbylinc.com/htm/tam/tam24123.htm I think these are the same. But I didn't buy mine myself. Good luck!
  19. Thanks for your great comments. Engine bay shot is ^^^^ up there somewhere. Page 1 also has a picture of the engine when it was still out of the car.
  20. So, just finished it. And I must say, for a first model it turned out pretty decent. Although you shouldn't look too closely at the paint, but the overall result is satisfying. Hardest part for me was painting the door rubbers on the body. If there will be a next time I will mask everything off. Trying to paint in a straight line on this scale is impossible. Good fun though! Would be nice too see some pictures of your Supra models(girls also approved ). Some pics:
