cool. I've had mine a few years so check with paul first to make sure the design hasn't changed

camber top mounts??? that doesn't work with double wishbone suspension, hence why you can't get them. as said above its on the cam bolts in the lower arm or aftermarket arms to change the camber.

hi there, main thing- brake fluid. I'd recommend a high temp fluid (I use motul rbf600) but even just a normal dot 5.1 will be better than a normal dot 4 (higher boiling point). Believe me, I've been there, boiling brake fluid is a horrible experience- and unless you take the kit to bleed new through it will ruin your day. I'd be happy to take any stock car out on a track, but in my experience heavy cars boil their fluid. have fun, hope you enjoy it

just for info, the whifbitz one is double drilled for a nardi and momo PCD, so you can fit either. same boss in both pics: nardi replica which has momo pcd (look at bolts, 30 degrees different) so no adapters needed. HTH (and nice choice of wheel!)

looks fantastic does that mate, wow. if I can get mine looking half as good as that after my "rolling refresh" i'll be more than happy. good work

good work. I had 35% off UK front discs, only got 20% I think off rears though, always thought it strange how each Toyota dealer has a random percentage generator when you walk through the threshold lol

the stock mkiv has 2 cats- the first is the shorter y piece you describe, which takes it from 2 into 1, then there is the second cat directly behind that. I've not done it myself but just double decatting a mkiv GE even with a stock exhaust apparently makes it very loud, I assume that's the sort of noise you are getting unfortunately. I'm sure someone with more of an idea will be along soon.

horrible thing to happen rear panel looks a gonna, hope its not bent the floor. either way hope you're back on the road in a soop soon fella.

welcome nice RX, I like them, and the power delivery- but I've never had the ballache of owning one! I've only had one mate who's owned one for 18 months and never had a problem. my brother's one shat its box, then started shitting its second box when the engine went, another friend bought one with a 2 month old recon job that turned out to be a bodge job- and 2 other mates have just bought theirs this new year- should be interesting seeing how those blokes get on! I'm a manual man through and through, but after owning a supra I can see why the auto is so popular, must be great for munching the miles on the road. and to echo the comments above- a member on here once took me out in an auto BPU rated at 385- and even as a passenger- what an experience. gobsmacked! I'm sure at your budget you should be able to find a nice example good luck with the search.

Hi All, The 2014 TSS dates have been announced for those interested. For those who don't know, Sprinting is like a hillclimb on the flat- Standing start, point A to point B, timed. The costs are similar to a track day, but time in the driving seat is traded for the experience of competing in a sport. IE you will get less time out on the tarmac as you would on a track day, but you'll be able to judge how effective your mods / setup adjustments are, see how good (or bad in my case!) driver you are, against cars and drivers of a similar potential within the different classes. The basic idea of the sport is to get as perfect run in as you can during the day- the usual format (venue / conditions dependant) we have is 2x sighting laps, 2x practice (untimed) runs then the clocks are switched on and you get up to 8x timed runs for the competition. One plus point is wear an tear on your vehicle is less that that encountered on a track day, as after each run your brakes and tyres get to cool off! Also less chance of coming together with anything but the scenery, as cars are released at intervals, so worrying about any nutters in caterfields coming past you sideways on the way into a corner doesn't figure when sprinting There is also a pre-season shakedown meet with possible tuition if enough interest, at Barkston Heath, on 30th march. Round 1, 27th April 2014 Blyton Round 2, 15th June Woodbridge Round 3, 20th July Blyton (different Layout) Round 4, 16th August Snetterton 100 Round 5, 14th September Croft Round 6, 25th Oct Barkston Heath If anyone has any questions, i'll only be happy to help / point in the right direction for info. For those wanting a read up: TSS website http://www.toyotasprint.com/tss/index.php Facebook Group https://www.facebook.com/groups/8568033839/?fref=ts It would be great to see some more supras out there! You don't have to enter the championship by the way, one off events are fine. Also they run a "class x" for any cars, we believe as this section was so popular in 2013 they are going to split it into classes for 2014- so if any supra owners have a non supra track weapon, those vehicles are more than welcome too. Also another thing to note, a stock car is fine- off the top of my head all you need to do is mark up your towing eyes and yellow tape your battery earth cable, and that's about it! As long as the car has MOT (street class only) and the basics work, you can come and have fun in any vehicle. Hope to see a few of you out there! All the best Dan. https://fbcdn-sphotos-h-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-frc3/421965_298667503528091_1983599134_n.jpg

agreed. I saw one in around 1990, I'd seen one at the GMEX motor show that year or the year before, thought it was likely I'd never see another. insane is the word- I was gobsmacked! another was when on a caravan holiday with the family we pulled in at a services, and a Ferrari came in and parked next to us. 288 GTO........... this is the only other I can find. more supras- couple of members though https://scontent-a-lhr.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ash2/425104_10151012164289735_939869944_n.jpg

When I selected what to go for I read the thread in post 2 (good work graham!) and ordered motul gear 300 as it was recommended and Chris had some on offer. Mine is stock but is used on the track though so I like to protect things as best I can. But TBH I have always serviced my own cars, and whether they are used on track or not, I've always gone for the best I can afford- IE if you can get generic stuff for like £8 a litre at an autofactor, and a decent one is £16 from somewhere like OPIE- OK so it might be 100% dearer- but £24 difference? for a 3 litre box oil change? whats that? A large dominos pizza and two and a half pints if you drink lager these days......... just my 2p.

I think you're right there chris. It was a bit slippery when I pulled away later! some cracking pics on here. we had a couple of old planes at work until recently, after seeing the harrier and concorde ones wish I'd asked to get a pic before they went I think that F40 takes some beating car wise! some lovely pictures people, keep them coming

Was posting on another thread and came across a pic from about a year or two ago. Pulled up at work, went to walk in, looked around and got this view- so had to take a pic https://fbcdn-sphotos-c-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-ash2/t1/285298_10151349016374735_53743687_n.jpg Any pics of yours next to anything interesting- doesnt have to be a car

Possibly the best alloy wheels ever fitted to a Supra available on Ebay
Dan_Q replied to rider's topic in Supra Chat
I prefer these BBS's, should fit a soop rather nicely too. http://www.driftworks.com/forum/wheels-tyres-sale-private-sales/215480-bbs-rs-902-903-18-5x114-3-8-5j-et-38-9-5j-et-36-forged-split-rims-l-k.html -
wow. I need to get the old polish out. those look awesome. (think mine is that colour)

i've used biggred in the past- prob about 7 years ago now, but they did a blinding job and had good service from what i remember. i've quite a few good nick parts / spares for Jspec in the garage now i've removed them if of interest. when i did my celica i bought another set to have refurbished then just swapped them for the ones on the car. That way the car was off the road for minimum time. Just an idea if you hadn't already thought of that

cheers for the replies fellas, settles the mind I've thrown them in with just a stick on shim and copper grease- will see how I go. I've left the wear indicators on, as the odd time I have found them rather useful in the past!
