  1. I think its a good idea to do a thread on here fot na t set ups. im having problems with mine when its sorted il cover the problems i had :-) I think the spec to what power is acheived is important to future people wanting to do this conversion..passing people to clubna-t isnt the answer as this isnt just a TT forum. I know a few people have hit good figures on the T61..i did consider a smaller turbo so i hit high power lower down the rev range. this could still be an option. What are your future plans Jamie.

    Hi

Giving it 2 hours for a welcome is a bit harsh I always did like scoobys. The NA is 220, though with a few mods you can be a bit higher but not alot without boost. Have you had your scooby dyno;ed? Be good to see it
  3. Personal choice. I like 10J with a nice dish. Various designs look nice. I've seen a few decent run flats lately too!
  4. Remove the bung at front of the headlight to let air circulate. Make sure its back on if its raining. Its located at front of the light If you remove light and the bung, you could also remove the main beam bulb to aid in air flow.
  5. Guidsy... that took less than 60 seconds to answer!! >>Impressed
  6. How about odd twins and un-related twins lol bambisdad, hit the search button, check out build threads and decide how you want your power, and what power you want. Sor-ted.
  7. Lol the old `want to protect my engine` trick didn't pull that off. That's why I put a turbo on my engine mate. Wanted reliability lol. To be fair, engines are pretty cheap, if you fluff it up, won't hit your pocket too much to replace it. You clearly want to try it, I think it's worth a shot if you really want to.
  8. Depends on appliaction. A big single turbo would produce more than stock twins, but big twins could produce more than a single. It's all down to each individual set up.
  9. You can't compare a regular TT and a single turbo conversion. A regular TT has no upgrades, where as a single conversion will be twice as powerful if not a bit more. It's all about power delivery, and what you want. The gradual increase of each turbo in sequence, or the single boost increase from one turbo. Though you can modify the twin turbo system to enable both turbos to kick in at the same time. Seriously big power and fast 1/4 runs have been acheived with both options.
  10. If your running a sub 300bhp NA engine you've no fear of damaging the engine how ever you drive as long as you don't spend 70% of the time bouncing off 7k and service it on a regular basis. (not that 69% bouncing off the rev limiter is any good, but you get the idea). The ignition cut makes some awesome noises, but also can do damage to internals, a risk you take. If you want to spent money on protecting your engine, maybe an oil cooler, a cam belt change and a good service will go along way.
  11. Ok, sounds good, I shall have a measure tonight just to confirm.
  12. My supra is very low. The front bumper isn't very low compared to the Do-Luck etc, but the whole car has been dropped, I'm worried these won't be low enough for me. I will measure it when I get home tonight, would there be any chance of extra length being made onto them?
  13. Hi all, would love a deeper black, my paint work is a bit worse for wear so the whole car would need doing. Something I'm considering once the turbo is running sweet. Saw this, is a candy black. Any other ideas for a more fancy black?

  15. That little beast is asking for a turbo conversion GLWS
  16. Lovely item mate, if I was as far with my build as I'd hoped and was running a FFIM I would of snapped this up. As far as I understand it, the throttle body comes with an adapter plate on the rear of the unit, which is custom welded to the intake as required. GLWS
  17. John is Dude is he not Make your own?
  18. The music to `Extreme Tubing` is epic in my opinion. I will be making a video with that music very soon.... EPIC!!!
  19. Me too, I would be interested in seeing dimentions first though, as I can't get a standard jack under my car, only the toyota jack that came with the car will go under it, as trolly jacks won't fit.
  20. Sweet video. Nice tune, one of the best tunes for cruising Whats your rev limit set to dude, looks like it bounces near 9k!!
  21. Was gonna ring them tomorrow mate, was waiting for bank holiday to be over.
  22. Ok, if it looks like an EMU problem I will remove the ECU tomorrow and disconnect the intake pipe for the turbo and run the car NA. Ryan, will the car be ok to run the 440's on the stock ECU, I'm assuming the sensors should adjust the fueling accordingly and not over fuel to the point of damaing the engine so I can at least see if the problem is ECU defined, if the problem is still present I will need to check other possibilities.
  23. Lately I've seen a couple of supra's with custom cam covers, the most obvious is the green supra with stainless piping everywhere. Was wondering if anyone had other photos of custom cam covers, be good to see what different cam covers have been designed.
