  1. Ignoring the center peice which can be bought and the vortex generators (which come with both - just not shown on rx7) Can you see £500 difference between the two?
  2. I'd check your headlights for fitment. When I used to supply people with HID bulbs there were cross over's with HB4 and HB3 being used different combinations of lights. People had to returne different sets. Just double check mate what you are running. My JSpec lumes on my car are for UK spec headlights, PITA
  3. Looking good. Very jealous, your be nailing past the NA-T's at this rate dude
  4. Similiar questions are going on here. My suggestion was to modify the whifbitz pillar, due to the pods being located so low I beleive you would have enough room to customise the pillar and mould a third pod holder. The other triple pillar thread: http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?264882-Wich-gaugeholder-to-buy&p=3336853#post3336853

    headlight rings

I think these look good. I would just state what you are doing rather than ask if people are interested, include items in your build thread. Its the best way to show what you can do when you apply for hobbyist status. I've had comments asking to build pods and headlight intakes, you will always get them even if you dont advertise bits for sale, people will ask if you can make them stuff because they like it so much and want to share the idea. i know people who get asked to make clutchs for v8's, like the rest of the people into custom items you just have to give advice and help people go their own way until you have status I think if you get it, it would be good but it wasn't you who started the GB idea so I would carry on with your custom bits on your own build for sure! Be great to see what else you come up with.
  6. Hi Seba. Haven't heard from you for ages mate send me a PM be good to catch up. Regarding your pod build, if I made one it would probably be around the same price as the whifbitz if not a bit more as it will need smoothing and spraying so I think thats an awesome price. I want to do a comparison to help you solve your issue. The whifbitz pods are located as far down the pillar as you would want to take them. This gives you maximum headroom. The dual pillar pods that are sold on ebay have the two pods on the pillar higher, and are evenly spaced. This brings the pods closer to your face, and further away from the pillar. The only example I can give you of this, is the grey pod holder. I can't find any other pictures on the forum or google search (only had a quick look). My advice, is if you really want a triple pod, get some dimensions from the dual whifbitz pod holder, and work out if you can add another pod to it, then cut a hole for wires and fibreglass it to the pillar, smooth it, and you have a seriously stronger triple pillar pod, the third highest pod being the only custom peice required. Easy! http://whifbitzperformancetuning.co.uk/images/fibrepillarpod2.jpg http://www.fqperformance.com/shop/images/evo4-660mmtwinpod.jpg This image shows how the pods are located higher up the pillar. On the supra, it is not as long, therefore you would not have the room for a third pod. The whifbitz pods are lower down the pillar.
  7. 60mm in the vent and 52mm in the clock.
  8. Depends on what clutch you get. I paid 250 for my clutch, 150 for fitting. Need more photos of the turbo to be sure. But to be fair, turbo's are cheap as chips. 350 quid nets you a T61 that will do fairly well for a while and be well within future power gains. I recommend not worrying about turbo quality until you have a reliable set up. No point in forking out big bucks for a tubby and then something that you should of paid good money for failing, clutch wastegate etc. A T3 will spool FAST. EDIT: because its a small turbo, not because it s aT3 flange.
  9. I have compressor surge. I found when changing the BOV it actually got WORST. The stock TT is fitted with an oem bov isnt it? They must of designed it for a reason, not sure I'd want to take mine off. I wouldn't want to run an NA-T without a BOV, there is enough surge as it is IMO. Just get a quiet one if you dont want to sound.
  10. I don't think I'll make 600bhp on stock NA cams, so looking at getting customs made. Would need a higher range to take advantage of the duration?
  11. Rubbish dont beleive you Pics or it didnt happen
  12. all your need is the clutch, intercooler and intercooler piping (piping will need to be made from a universal kit, you cant buy an NA intercool piping kit). also recommended to have an oil cooler and afr gauge. your also need a boost controller if you want a few extra bhp.
  13. You cheeky little sod! Read this then mr clever clogs
  14. £320 for a tow eye? Was it gold plated
  15. Opinons on high rpm with rods Chris?
  16. Afternoon all, anyone have any rough dimensions for the Ridox bumper? I'd like a carbon splitter for my C-West and was wondering how far apart they are, as the ridox splitter is gorgous. Not many options for extensions on the CWest, and its different so I dont want to change. Thanks http://drift.skayltd.jp/files/Daigo%60s%20Supra%20fr.%20bumper,etc.jpg
  17. I dont know if they are illegal, but it would pass MOT. Damage from crash or rust it the only product that would hurt someone that is on the MOT sheet (from what I remember reading that Dude) said.
  18. Was just about to write saying you were looking for one of these!
  19. I thought id leave it general before i gave specifics. il be upgrading valve springs and retainers as standard. il have high duration and more lift i wont be running a higher rpm with stock cams. I thought the rods and crank were the same. il be swapping the pistons out anyway i was hoping with uprated rod bolts i could use stock rods. if there is any doubt whatsoever il bite the bullet and do it properly and buy lighter rods. I think i read somewhere chris wilson said the stock rods dont like seriously high rpm so thought id ask what the limits were.
  20. dont want GTE manifolds or head. that is TOO EASY for me, want a challenge
