  1. Guys these are actually on ebay: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1992-2002-TOYOTA-SUPRA-GLOW-GAUGES-PLASMA-DIALS-PLASMA-TACHO-SHIFT-GLOW-LIGHTS-/120869765634?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item1c24664202
  2. I'll try and make you a brass set mate. You can buy me some beer's at Pod then
  3. I held mine as I bored it, mine had to be 2mm. Knurling before would be the easiest option for sure. Don't think you'd even be able to do it after.
  4. Scott they do look nice. What material did you use? Out of interest what was the OD
  5. My hobbyist status is currently in the system buddy. As soon as it's been approved I can look at having more sets made.
  6. Thanks mate. `Knurled` grip would look awesome. You would need to grip the knob from the inside, I'd be worried about the thickness. 2mm was at thick as I wanted to go. You'd want to go 3mm if you used Aluminum wouldn't you? Did you make up any stock ones yet.
  7. I stayed after school
  8. I've had some of these made. Am really pleased with how well they came out. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?258755-My-NA-T-Build/page8&highlight=shopping+list
  9. Had these made up. 316 Stainless Steel heater knobs. Tempted to silver plate them, but really like the finish so will see how they suit when I get some heater dial surrounds. Car's in the body shop sometime this month, am looking forward to getting some new bits fitted
  10. I made my stainless ones earlier today, they look rather swish. Only thing I'd be worried about with brass is them being deformed. I don't have any alloy bronze lying about otherwise I'd use that. I'll try brass mate when I get a chance and see what you think. Was just an idea mate Never know when I may need your help one day. If you know anyone who uses titanium, we could always get that anadised?
  11. Such an awesome build. It's great to see these car's taking to the next level.
  12. Take it you didnt pick up a clutch and flywheel. If funds weren't so wasted I would definitely grab this. So tempting . . .
  13. Sorry not rung you mate about some advice on that pod. I will give you a quick bell tomorrow? Anytime ok?
  14. Looks tidy mate. I was thinking about your car earlier when picking material to make some heater knobs. What if you had brass ones made?
  15. Wicked mate. Glad to hear it. Didn't want you getting into trouble like I always did lol
  16. I'm going to be making some custom knobs soon, as I can't get a response from the guy who makes them on the yahoo website (forgot name). Just wondering if anyway had any custom photos of their custom heater knobs. I think Im going to use 316 Stainless, in the hope I can get some rear covers and it will match as I know alloy knobs wouldnt have any chance being a close colour. I was even considering having some titanium ones made, but unless Supraman drives my car I couldnt see the benifit Ideas welcome.
  17. PM Lbm about this. Give him an exact figure for the price. The mods will discuss it and the thread will be released pending Mod approval.
  18. wish my car was the right car
  19. Mitchell, you doing the interior of your car as well?
  20. If you already own an NA then sell the whole car and go TT or just go NA-T. Save yourself a problem, if you pop an engine then its a weekend work and 100quid. Pop a TT lump and your talking ££££. To be fair, treat either engine right and u wont get any problems. Some will say go TT, some will say NA-T. If i had the money and could do it again. I would.
  21. Shit mate, 200 quid for a rear caliper? thats loads. i would of kept an eye out for a 2nd hand one. i bought my UK fronts for 300 with new pads! still need to fit them actually!!!! that company offered me a REAL shit deal on the two diffusers. i am trying to blag them for more of a discount.
  22. The second link gives the impression that lower boost applications benifit from less restriction more. I would of thought higher boost applications having a larger volume of air would of had a bigger difference with larger bore piping.
  23. I thought Nic meant against my current 2.5" system, mis-read it
  24. How come? I would of thought the 3" would be closer to the ground.
