  1. Don't need a headgasket. Dont need different pistons. Setup is good for 360-400 on stock compression. Piggy back does 500bhp just fine. Your need a lower compression with anything over 400 though. This kit has all the main mechanical components. Your need gaskets etc etc. Recommend for an oil cooler but not 100% required. All your need is an ECU Piggy back to map it, and a decent clutch. You don't want to get a thicker head gasket AND pistons, thats pointless. People run GTE lumps with 9.#:1 compression, lowering a GE to less than 9.anything:1 is wasted. To be honest, the US NA-T's run 600bhp with just a HG all day long. It has more chance of knock but they do use meth/water injection alot more from what I've seen on supra forums. This kit + cheap piggy back / or refurbished AEM unit + upgraded clutch + new oil lines = job done, 365bhp minimum. XS oil lines usually need replacing for slightly better ones.
  2. I have an NA airbox lying about, thinking about selling it but Neil already has had one for sale for a while. Anyone be interested if I carbon wrapped it? Using carbon weave not the plastic carbon fibre. I'll weave the box and intake and spary it with some shiney clear coat. Anyone with any pictures would be appreciated, just trying to clear my shed with stuff and had the idea?
  3. Good call. Did you get any headwork done at all?
  4. I ended up breaking off one of the tags on the bungs on the top of the headlights I have to use silicone now to help seal them up, PITA. How come you removed the covers mate?
  5. No idea mate. Cant even find any info on it online. Was sure it was HKS..
  6. Washed my car and sprayed some more bits under the bay
  7. Must be the HKS glove box pod. Rare and tidy piece of kit. GLWS
  8. I'd like the aluminium one, but if I have to settle for the steel one then so be in. Depending on condition I'd be prepared to pay whatever it's worth if it was sensible. Hard to find someone selling one that just wants rid.
  9. I'm keeping an eye out for one of these so if anyone has one lying in their garage please let me know. I am aware these are pretty rare but I'm keeping the faith!
  10. If you want a BW turbo it is cheaper to import it through DaveH on supraforums, he was cheaper than any UK supplier I could find, cheaper by over 30% including shipping. Just a note.
  11. there are threads about it on the forum. have a quick search
  12. Extra features are all well in good if you have cash to splash and will use them all. Syvecs cost a huge amount more than AEM, sometimes it comes down to if you can afford it. Everyone bean's on about syvecs, not everyone is rich. Good Emange kit for the price, I paid more for mine and it didn't work without a fuel defender. Good buy for someone this. GLWS
  13. Found what he was on about, oops!> Sorry my mistake. Wishful thinking + fast reading = confusion.
  14. Oh you can take the main beam bulb out, that always helps. I've current got both out to air it as had some in both lights.
  15. Photoshoot? Are we sharing member's wife photos
  16. Could you open the bung up to let it air through while the sealant goes off.
  17. Gutted I missed this!! I even had a teaser video form jimmy lol so gutted.
  18. Hope you don't mind me asking, have a mate who has some play in his 6speed diff, is the auto and 6spd use the same ratio?
  19. Was going to order some yesterday mate I agree with you. Was thinking I might get chrome rings first and see how it looks? I thought just the backings it might look a bit out of place?
