  1. Had a quick look in your garage saw there an black rz supra and love the stock looks, i think keep the wheels you have and get them widened to achieve this. looks far better imo 315's at the rears;)
  2. If you want a good product go with Busch chrome was, http://www.buschshineproducts.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=28
  3. A line lock is a device that allows the front brakes to lock independently of the rear brakes via a switchThe device is an electric solenoid that controls a valve which is placed on the front brake line, and is controlled by a switch Normally, the valve is open and allows fluid to pass through to the front brakesHowever, when the brakes are applied and the solenoid is activated, the valve closes to trap the brake fluid, keeping the front brakes applied until the switch is released. ABS when active will receive its data by its data from the abs sensors, it is trying to control the brake fluids pressure send to the brakes, to prevent lock up, it is constant controlling and monitoring the pressure send to the brakes and by that it is not interferring by a line lock kit, the abs computer will regulate pressure only sent towards the brakes, During normal driving, the solenoid is open and the brake pressure is applied to the ABS unit exactly as it is without the solenoid installed. Only when the solenoid is powered via the dash button is the brake line valved off and pressure held on the front brakes. Enjoy having a line lock kit on the supe, and no worries for the ABS.
  4. One of the spartan versions, like it. Good work Hodge!
  5. Nice build there like the chrome bits beneath the bonnet, what gearbox/differential is fitted? Just out of interest, beceause there aren't many guys who starts these kinds of projects, from sz to rz and further. What type of gearbox was installed from factory, auto or manual, what is installed at the moment, and what did you done with the abs system?
  6. looks great, what is next?
  7. Nice, worth the waiting real good choice to go with the meisters,
  8. This one has not the water drip pans beneath but real nice looking bonnet, thought that the garage whiffbitz supra has the same sort of bonnet except the three little vents at front.
  9. But am really not considering to wrap any part of my supra, i want the real deal and not wraps, sorry if that sounds a little bit strange to you but hope you would understand, have been searching for over three months now to find a custom white metallic or other white as descirbed above but am certainly not looking for the oem color codes, one of the pictures found on another supra forum (supra forums) was this supra, nice example. Here is a picture of a Starfire Pearl IS-F and custom pearl white (a combo of the older Lexus pearl white with a little bit more silver in it) Supra TT. Did some research about the low gloss icy white met, but seems that even the corvette owners can't seem to figure it out about color code or more details, but found some color codes which come close to icy white is the arctic white from the older types of vette's from 2008, so am still searching this out, thanks for posting guys.
  10. Lovely picture, very nice with those stock skirts, so that would be 051 pearl white, one of the original supra colors, from Stephens picture is it difficult to see if it's 040 super white or pearl white 051 or maybe has had a respray in a different white i really can't tell by that picture, http://www.toyotareference.com/supra pearl white is very nice at sunset.
  11. Looks nice in white but the type of paint looks like its super white 040, (is it still in the original paint?) You can see what color your supra has if its still original read the tag plate beneath the bonnet, http://mkiv.supras.org.nz/manufacture.htm
  12. Agree, like them too in white, you're car has cost you a fortune would you take the risk of the possibility that the paint beneath could get damaged when taking of the wrapping, it's easier to make such decissions when you're 100% certain it won't be affected at all. I really don't know. But it's nice in any color Jamie it's up to your own taste.
  13. The vette's description and camaro's description is informing any reader that it's paint so actually by going on their information i would say it's paint, but wrap or no wrap it looks great to me, i came by this color as i have only three more weeks to decide, started with some other colors as red, red metallic, british racing green, green metallic, white metallic, icy white metallic, red what i actually really like as my own supra came in red from factory, but as unicolors will fade by effect of the sun i changed my mind and would go for a metallic variant. And now really stick onto icy white metallic but seems that there not much supras which wearing this particular color. 2 examples from ccw.com In metallic green, In Diamond White Pearl (051) (I think) But still not found a pic from a supra in icy white metallic. But thanks anyways for your help in my search.
  14. They also do a chevrolet camaro ssx track car concept in same style as the vette, and Josh they're actually speaking about paint and not wraps, as it was a wrap they wouldn't write it of as Low-gloss Icy White Metallic ''PAINT'', see for yourself there are more pics available of other cars sprayed in this color, couldn't find any supra's in this color though, http://www.seriouswheels.com/cars/2011/top-2011-Chevrolet-Camaro-SSX-Track-Car-Concept.htm
  15. Thanks Joe, yours seems like a non metallic to me, Found this typical color on this ''vette'' but didn't found any supras in this particular color, still searching
  16. Are there any pictures available of supra's sprayed in icy white metallic? thanks Mario
  17. Oke so the gearbox will withstand the extra gains in bhp by going BPU, nice one George, try to get the diameters of your system exhaust sorted, 3'' straight through would be perfect for a bpu'd supra, when with a 3'' straight through the boost will run over 1,2 bar get an 1,2 bar restrictor ring in your system exhaust to prevent over boosting,
  18. What gearbox are you running?
  19. Looking good, will be looking forward to the pictures when you receive you're new wheels, What tyres you're going to run on you're new wheels.
  20. Is it only the looks? how width are those ferrari's compared to Jamie's Supra(in centimeters), is it that much?
  21. I would contact the guys from http://www.ccwheel.com and ask for the configuration you want including prices, and off course if they will ship towards the UK, check their website and click gallary you will see pics enough of ccw ''classics'', Good choice those classics, http://www.ccwheel.com/zoomed-image.php?view=gallery&make=TOYOTA&model=SUPRA&chassis=MKIV&wheel=Classic&id=05.jpg
