  1. Not my cup of tea best thing you could do with that is put it back to stock look as I am sure it would also increase the value
  2. Yep great car the crank shaft bearings can cause problems but they can be changed without moving engine also they suffer from lumpy gearbox changes when city driving I had mine reprogrammed it was better but still there, i then sold it and moved on to 530d m sport a much better car for me considering I only use 6 months of the year due to being away for work
  3. How many insurance assessors are really going to crawl under a damaged car and look to see if it has a cat these items do not really affect the road worthyness of a car
  4. My understanding of the Mot law is that a car is road legal at time of test after that doesn't count therefore it's not worth the paper its written on
  5. I bet the owners who have removed there a/c are sweating now
  6. I think honda just released a lawn mower with that much power - - - Updated - - -
  7. I am back next month car is coming along great the paintwork is done interior now sound proofed and is back in gearbox rebuilt the engine is out and stripped should be ready for summer can't wait
  8. Never new there was that many mind you I spend most of my time overseas so this will the main reason
  9. Apart from my own car I've not seen another supra in hereford for easy 15 years
  10. Ok I recall you saying your old man having a farm so I would get an old tyre and stick the engine on that and just strap it down
  11. Totally not supra related but I am curious on peoples opinions I currently own 3 diesel cars one is a brand new Mercedes glc amg, range rover sport tdv8 and a bmw 530d m sport. Now with all these new laws coming in I am starting get worried on the value of said vehicles and I am thinking should I sell now or keep them and hope I don't lose out and get stuck with them. So I am sure there must be people here thinking the same?? So what are your views would you still buy a diesel now or in the future or is this all a load of bullsh×t and nothing to worry about.
  12. I've noticed this rider character seems to have a lot of opinions on people's car values and seems to be on a one man mission to keep the values down. Regarding yearly club fees count me in the cost is minimal, I got more things to worry about like my misses spending my money
  13. You could try Germany as modifications have to be TUV approved
  14. I don't think they worry about these things other than colour and plate number and vin
  15. It's old but some good info on what market the car was aimed at
  16. Just to make you feel better I paid £132 full comp for my UK spec last year Lol
  17. Lol nearly 3 years since I last drove mine
  18. I would imagine there is probably less UK spec now than us or eu spec lhd cars
  19. Now that you know your rights it might be worth going to see a lawyer to drop them a letter inform them of your rights and there infringement of your privacy just to scare them into thinking you will take it further this normally puts the frightners on people
  20. Lol I think he says the same about range rovers yet have you not just restored one. I own 3.6 tdv8 and have owned 5 other range rovers with out any problems just take chance you might be lucky
  21. Can't really help you much with advise on using your ramp but as others have said it's for personal use not business so I don't think they have a leg to stand on. On another note I truly understand the trouble you are going through I have met many annoying retiring people that have come from the big cities to live in our county of herefordshire and totally try and change the way we live in the country side
  22. I am really interested in getting a f type r 4wd i can only imagine how good it must be now it 4wd
  23. I don't see the prices ever coming down and anyone who sticks a non original gearbox in there car will see reflection in resale value. I purchased new syncros bearings and gears for my v160 last year and it cost me about 2.5k so as you can see prices aint coming down
  24. Who knows maybe it was a Friday afternoon car, I too have driven my car all over Europe even towing with temps from -35 to 45 and never had a problem. I bought my wife a new mercedes glc coupe amg and its broken down twice with cars having so much technology in them today it's hardly a surprise
