  1. I will always recommend a range rover I've owned five and what's funny is I have always found them reliable my last one was a tdv8 sport and when I sold it I had 170,000 I can honestly say it never broke down and was well maintained. I now own a 2015 sdv8 and its brilliant very comfy and quick for its size and touch wood no problems so far which is more than what I can say for my wife's mercedes glc
  2. That I don't understand as they stopped selling the L322 in 2013 so how can you have bought a new one 2 years ago I own a 2015 vogue and that is the L405 which is the sdv8
  3. Piece of junk I know i someone that went back to a bmw 530d i personally have been in a few and the build quality is poor plus I dont care what anyone says it will never be as cheap as running a diesel over a long term period if you included purchase price then price of batteries plus eventually you will get stung for charging it
  4. Simple reason n/a was never sold in the uk also you can not just stick a turbo on and say it's the same even if you do a full 2jz gte conversion it's still a conversion and will never command the same money - - - Updated - - - Simple reason n/a was never sold in the uk also you can not just stick a turbo on and say it's the same even if you do a full 2jz gte conversion it's still a conversion and will never command the same money
  5. Interesting to know that your going electric considering the bmw is very good on fuel and power. A friend of a friend went the other way he owned a Tesla and after it went flat on him with his family on board he got rid and bought a bmw, He travels frequent from Hereford to london he was informed that with the lights and heater on it wasnt possible to do the journey without a charge. Anyhow good luck
  6. If it ain't got a turbo from factory it ain't a real supra Lol
  7. Exactly this as I am sure you know you get body flex and this tiger seal still keeps the bodykit stuck to metal
  8. Never used it but I can recommend tiger seal it's used for bonding on body kits/ spoilers to metal panels
  9. I understand what your saying but the law quite clearly states you can drive it to your mot station of preference till they change this law all this talking on various forums is just talk and anyhow it also clearly states in the mot book that the vehicle was road worthy at time of test so you could for example remove tyres or decat pipes after the test and be illegal therefore really making the mot not worth the paper it's written on
  10. I shall be driving my car from Dover to my mot tester which is 4 hours away I have done this many times in the past never been a problem as the law states you can drive the vehicle to any mot station plus it's still possible to tax a car without mot as I did that last year
  11. Another mkiv just sold for big money http://www.thedrive.com/news/26873/a-1994-toyota-supra-with-11200-miles-just-sold-for-a-monstrous-173600
  12. The mkiv was £44k ish in 94 akin to about 80k ish now. So it was an expensive car back then and no way could Toyota compete in that market with any Supra. Let's face it the Lexus people want as the next Supra is over 100k. Only one flaw in your statement is that Nissan managed to bring the R35 out at around 70 grand and that is a great car. If Toyota wanted to they should of used the development from LFA to produce a supra not only that it would of helped them recoup there losses on the development of that car. But in all reality Toyota have lost there way the range of cars built in the 80,s and 90,s was brilliant look at them now building cars like that damn prius - - - Updated - - - The mkiv was £44k ish in 94 akin to about 80k ish now. 13. I recently paid £600 for a UK set of wheels in need of a refurb some might say I paid too much but in my view it was they only thing I needed to put my car back to stock should I need to, i wish i didn't sell the two sets of UK wheels i had in storage but i am sure we can all say that about many things.
  14. Just read this article thought I would pass it on https://www-carscoops-com.cdn.ampproject.org/v/s/www.carscoops.com/2019/01/7k-mile-toyota-supra-turbo-just-sold-mind-boggling-121000/amp/?amp_js_v=a2&amp_gsa=1#referrer=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.google.com&amp_tf=From%20%251%24s&ampshare=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.carscoops.com%2F2019%2F01%2F7k-mile-toyota-supra-turbo-just-sold-mind-boggling-121000%2F
  15. Celica gt4 st205 you could get a very clean example for 10k and they are reliable
  16. I would say that looking at the honda nsx would be a good example has the new model affected the old one probably not. I would imagine a tt6 is always going to command top price it's a legend now and I don't suppose that will change
  17. That's brilliant you definitely come out on top wish I could of said the same when I got divorced 16 years ago I lost just under 500,000 it still boils my blood now
  18. I run a 295 on the rear with standard arches just rolled and I believe some people have even gone 315 on the rear so I guess you just need the correct wheel fitment
