  1. Im down West Nooks. Do you also know Jamie who has a white wide arch N/A? He lives nearer to you than I do!
  2. Dude, I live in haxby! - - - Updated - - - Thanks buddy, I'll take a look - - - Updated - - - Thanks buddy, I'll take a look
  3. Do sandwich plates not have 2 unions on? What do you do with the other one? Sorry, is don't know anything about this subject. - - - Updated - - - Where's that section?
  4. Hi NA-T'ers, Im going to start my NA-T project next year but I've got a couple of technical questions before I start. One of which is: Does the oil feed and return have to go to the sump or can I just use an oil filter sandwich plate?
  5. I cut holes in a standard bonnet like this one, (Not my actual bonnet) I stuck perspex at the back of the hole, wedging some mesh inbeween and painting the back of the perspex black then I put the carpet back without cutting holes in it. That way I get the look of having vents without having to deal with rainand snow getting on my battery and air filter.
  6. Yeah, your probably right. Heres the part number for the allen key with the rubber bit on 09169-14010
  7. You've probably all seen this before... http://www.clublexus.com/forums/car-chat/111173-supra-covertible-on-supra-forums.html Looks like its been made from parts of a Lexus sc430
  8. I can find it for you as I work at my local Toyota garage... In parts!
  9. ...Or as close as you'll get. I've been using an electric screwdriver for the past 6 months. Namely, this one... http://www.diy.com/nav/fix/power-tools/power-screwdrivers/cordless/Performance-Power-3-6V-Lithium-ion-Screwdriver-12448568?skuId=12969274 The allen key you get from Toyota fits perfectly in the end of it and it'll stay charged for ages. Also, when you need to nip it up the screwdriver will lock so you can tighten it without using power. I managed to take my roof off at traffic lights the other day!
  10. One of my mates in a mazda 323f did a classic on me in my aerotop. We were both at some lights and he said "Nice car. Whats the retail on one of those" To which I replied "More than you can afford pall, Toyota!"
  11. It was last night. You might have seen my yellow manual aerotop
  12. Yes mate ill snag that off you if you don't mind :-)
  13. Thanks. Just done some research on this and some people have swapped to a manual ecu to overcome the problem. Thing is, mine doesn't rev to the same every time. It's lowers when it's under more load.
  14. Hi guys. I've been struggling with this issue for a few months on my n/a aerotop that I had converted to 5 speed manual. When the engine is warm and under variable amounts of load then it seems to impose its own rev limiter further down the range the more load there is. I'm getting flash codes 12 and 24. I've replaced the spark plugs at the same time as the rocker cover gasgets. After that I changed all the vacuum hoses and the valve in the inlet manifold that feeds the map sensor (could be the sensor) Also changed the entire distributor (£250 from Toyota) I'm now begrudged to spend anymore money on it because I've been offered a celica for £300 Please can anyone help? I love my supra and I'd hate to get rid of it because of this stupid problem :-(
  15. I've just found this out the hard way but if your dressing up your engine bay with these anodised bolts then you'll want to keep them away from the bracket with your igniter on top. I found out that the igniter earths through its mounting bracket. I also found out that the anode layer thats applied during the anodising process is unconductive! No earth = no spark which means your car wont start.
  16. Screwed on and stuck on. Get some RTV Silicone
  17. Ive re-sealed mine because of this and now its loads worse. Ive not seen the inside of my O/S headlight in 3 weeks!
  18. Does anyone have a speed converter that just moves the position of the numbers on the dail? http://www.metal-monkey.co.uk/acatalog/Supra_speedo.jpg Like that but 1:1 scale
  19. I've meshed them and I'm looking for some flat carbon sheets to glue under. Other than Carbonmods.co.uk does anyone know where to get any of that from?
  20. I've just cut these vents into my bonnet... Just wondered what anyone else has done to stop it raining on their batteries and air filters?
  21. Ill give you £75 for it as theres another one being sold for that much somewhere else. Im keeping an eye on that too so whoever comes back first wins the money!
  22. I need one of these because mine is knackered! I think its knackered anyway. My speedo is being lazy, not reading in Kph either. 20Mph on the speedo is more like 30, 40Mph is more like 60 and 60 is more like 100. If this will fix my problem then Ill have it! :-)
  23. Speedo doesn't work (read 40 when going at least 80) Coolant needs to be flushed and replaced Front and rear shockers need replacing Rear susp. bushes need to be replaced There's some play in the rear wheel bearings Centre console storage unit won't open Cat heat shield shows signs of wear Speedo works, just needed a bullet connector instead if insulation tape. Coolant has been flushed and changed Suspension is getting replaced on Tuesday Centre console does open because that's where I keep my wallet (you saw me open it) Why do you need a cat heat shield if there's no cat? That all cost me about £200 to fix (bonus through working for Toyota) Don't come asking for help when your brakes seize and your heater matrix pops.
