No. Ive just fitted the new converter but its just as lazy as the old one Im gonna give it to Keron to fix. I think He might have done something when he changed the engine

Does anyone do the led conversion on the dashboard? I'm after red to match my clocks. Just need the heater control, clock and odometer doing if anyone knows anyone who does it?

Hot wire it and fit an engine stat button... Don't tell your insurance ;-)

its got a 'brain' box with it that the button plugs into. off this box comes 4 wires: earth, live and 2 others I presume go to these white wires mentioned in Jasons link.

After messing with my speedo for a while I think it should be completely possible to change my speedo to red instead of green and also change the way the clocks look. Has anyone had any experience doing this? Having something of my own design would be quite cool I think. Can I print some new dial faces to replace the standard ones?

my tyres arent the issue, the gear box and diff are all stock so I think Im gonna order a new speed converter. Seems Thor have,nt made any new ones yet Ill have to get one off flea bay and check over the connections.

I did have but Ive taken them off. The problem started when I had the engine replaced.

HELP! Im having an issue with my speedo! Im not entirely sure whats wrong with it but its not reading correctly. I thought it was reading in Kph which would suggest the speed converter was faulty but that de limits the car too and I can do over 112 so I shouldnt imagine half its functionality should fail and not the other half. Anyway, I looked at another speedo with Mph and Kph next to eachother and I dont think its reading in either as none of the numbers match up to what my sat nav tells me. So it turns out its just being lazy. When im doing 30Mph my speedo says 20. When im doing 60Mph, speedo says 40. I just dont get it, what could it be??

I need new brakes on the front of my '95 n/a but without taking the discs off I can't accurately measure them. If it Helps, the pads are the conventional type, ie not the square ones with pins through the top. Any ideas?

Im getting a new exhaust from exhausts uk tomorrow and was contemplating a side exit like whats on the mclaren SLR but at the back of the side skirt

cheers guys, looks like Ill get Pauls. A mate of mine has a 350z with american manifolds and he cant steer at high speeds! Also, he's completely lost the distinctive v6 burble. Does that happen with these manafolds too?

Ah yeah, thats what you can see when you take the top glove box out isnt it? Theres another one to the left that opens a hatch that lets you see right into the heart of the heater. @ the Steves - Ive pushed my rod fully in now but its still not doing anything. (is anyone else counting the inuendos in this thread?) I think Im going to have to fully replace the heater to make this work again :-( When the ebay matrix leaked there was water all over the place! Could have easily shorted something out. Ive checked all the fuses and theyre fine.

thats not the box samwiched between the radio and the aeriel relay is it?

Im gonna have a play with it this morning, ill let you know. I cant see how a mechanical problem would cause the control pannel not to work though...

Ah good find and thanks but thats not the issue. I cant control the heater at all. Cant turn it on or change the temperature. If you turn yours off then thats prety much what mines like all the time, even when I turn the knobs. Ive replaced the control unit and the control panel but still no joy
