  1. Whifbitz want £376.04 for all the seals. I work at Toyota and I can get them (with my discount) for £245.74 I think when the vaseline stops working then I'll treat myself to new seals if I've still got the car by then.
  2. I've got a bit of a leak from the roof on my aerotop and it's making my girlfriend wet... Not in a good way. She decided to coat the leaky area with Vaseline which I thought might eat the rubber over time. Has anyone got any good ideas on how to fix a leak? New seal ect...?
  3. The old Toyota load bars are, as Nic quite rightly says, discontinued. However, I've done some digging at work and found part numbers for the old discontinued parts if thats any use to you? 00072-30000 - Bar Rack 00072-30007 - Fitting Kit
  4. Is there an NA/T kit or do people make it up from universal pipes and connectors?
  5. Im an N/A owner whos thinking about going NA/T. I'm on my second N/A which is an aerotop. My first was a hard top which I was beginning to think about selling and getting a TT6 but it was written off and I got peanuts from the insurance company (sky) Anyway, Short of finding a good GZ I was never going to get what I wanted which was a manual turbo aerotop, so Im building one.
  6. Its definately beneficial to have it on an N/A. Less so on a turbo. I guess the boosted air entering the plenum will just be more compressed.
  7. My mate Chris does all kinds of re-trimming and flocking. Find him on facebook by searching for 'Furry Walls'
  8. This might be a stupid question but what happens to ACIS when your already putting pressurised air through the inlet manifold from a turbo?
  9. Its not going to have a turbo. The new guy at the top of Toyota doesnt like turbos. Thats why the GT-86 doesnt have one. Like Jason says, V6 or V8 takes my guess
  10. Would it be easier all round to stick a TT head on? Hell, might aswell go for a full engine swap if thats the case eh?
  11. I might be interested in de-lining my pre-facelifts if that can be done. I painted my chrome rings, I dont think it looks too bad
  12. Theres always someone who's done it better isnt there :-\ lol
  13. He said that a brake line had worn though and fluid was leaking onto something warm. Last time I checked, brake fluid isnt as flamable as that seeing as its boiling point is about 260C I rekon he's upped his fuel pressure with a remap and one of his fuel pipes burst. anyway. I found the last pictures of my old hard top... Thats what happens when a BMW driver doesnt pay attention on a busy road. I was stopped in traffic and he hit me at about 50-60mph, he had enough time (luckily) to swerve to the right (into on coming traffic) and only write the car off. If he hit me square on I might not have been writing this now.
  14. Girlies like it. Just to clarify, the flowers have'nt been on for a while.
  15. He was a good photographer before he got incarserated.
  16. 1. YJOC is still closed. Luckily I managed to rescue this build thread before it happened. 2. I work at Toyota 3. Intercooler pipes would be handy but I still need to collect some kind of management and oil pipes too then I think Im about good to go.
  17. Dont worry, the flowers came off shortly after that pic was taken. From a distance they looked like muddy paw prints Yeah, I did the Rico Rally in my old hard top. Best week EVER!!! But then I've never done dragonball...
