  1. Thanks :-) You are right though, Ive been looking at spacers recently. Not entirely keen on them though. The wheels are Soarer fitment which is probably why they dont stick out far enough.
  2. Bit of an update... I threw away the old body kit the other day Got started on the new body kit with Jamie whos doing prety much all the body work or me :-) Does this picture reallyyneed any explaination? Heres Jamie doing a bit of smoothing... The kit is starting to take shape The car is currently all ready for the body shop! /itll be getting primered this weekend and painted next weekend. Im well excited!! - - - Updated - - - The colour The shape Queue the music! No points for procrastination Detail work Finished product Not sure about keeping these flowers. Makes it look a bit more summery but also a bit more girly. What do you think?
  3. Right. Ive been a bit busy over winter, the work still continues too but heres a quick update of what Ive been upto... I had to get a new wheel as the one that was damaged in the crash was ruined as you can see. Its taken me a few months but I eventually sourced one from america with Jamies help. The tyres were a bit knackered on my other 3 wheels so I've had to get a complete set of 4 which I fitted myself at work. - - - Updated - - - Next job was to get the aircon re gassed Then I employed Chris to retrim my roof which was that horrible grey when everything else in the car was black. Not bad eh? Thanks chris! - - - Updated - - - Then some standard maintainance was in order. Back brakes. Bit of a mine field with Supras... Every time you change discs or pads on a supra theres always a calliper that needs changing too :-( In this case it was just the carrier. Still annoying though Got my body kit through the other day so me and Jamie are going to get busy with the tiger seal and filler over the next couple of weeks. Stay tuned..
  4. Heres some pictures of the manual conversion occuring... Thanks Keron for doing that :-)
  5. Queue the music! Right, the salvage has begun! Today, I nicked the black carpet, the leather seats, the front strut bar and a couple of other bits off the yellow one. Yes... that is a jelly baby we found under the carpet! Looks tons better for having the black carpet and leather seats in. Thanks to Dom for coming to help, wouldnt have got it all done without you. - - - Updated - - - the exhaust is back on and I've also rescued some other bits like my boot lid as its smooth, my front bumper as its not ugly and my fuel cap cover as its got a little thing on it to put the cap in while I'm filling up... Aerotops a are so handy! Its that time again... A full write up of how I did this can be found on the project thread for my old car here... http://www.yjoc.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=49 Right, the manual box is out of the yellow bumblefuck Excited now!
  6. Hi Guys, I've just coppied all this off my local clubs forum. Thought you might want to see... Right, time to start all over again then. I lost my old hardtop to a BMW driver who wasn't paying attention so I've had to go out and buy another supra, an aerotop this time! Here's some pics from the advert - - - Updated - - - So it's down to business. First things first Then I got it checked out by the guys at work just to make sure I've not bought a complete rot box. As it happens the came back good apart from a sleight oil leak from the left hand cam cover but all that'll need is a new gasget. Also needs some sealer putting round the lower engine cover (the one the sump is attached to) again, no big deal. Anyway, the car just completed a weekend away in the Lake District without a hiccup so that's initiation passed! Time to start swapping parts from the bumblefuck...
  7. I'd go black with a silver car personally. Bronze would look ace against black though
  8. Says HB3 and HB4 in relevant places on the front lens. Im not sure if Halfrauds do extreme brilliance in H3 for the fog. Whatever you do, dont go for Toyota optifit bulbs, I use them because they were cheap but they may aswell be called optish*t. Cant see anything with them.
  9. Does a stock TT inlet manifold (or indeed, an after market one) fit directly on an N/A head? I know the exhaust doesn't fit properly...
  10. Id sooner buy those than these... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/TOYOTA-SUPRA-MK4-JZA80-PLASTIC-HEADLIGHTS-VGC/171203957585?rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.m1851&_trkparms=aid%3D222002%26algo%3DSIC.FIT%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D74%26meid%3D3787535424342302119%26pid%3D100005%26prg%3D1048%26rk%3D2%26rkt%3D4%26sd%3D151199633283%26#ht_175wt_1170 You'll struggle to get hold of any headlights at the moment. I cant find vary many at all on ebay. Especially facelift ones. Luckily, you can still buy them from Toyota but theyre quite expensive.
  11. Make sure its hot oil too so it flows better, lol
  12. Oh yeah, its aluminium isnt it, hahahaha
  13. Just incase your 10ltrs of clean oil misses some swarf, I'd be tempted to get one of those magnetic sump plugs just to be sure. When I do mine Im going to get a replacement sump and drill that. Like Ben sz-r says, one off one on. Job Jobbed.
  14. Yeah, and the brakes, and the suspension, lol. Over the time we both owned it I think it'd been completely taken appart and rebuilt good learning curve. Touch wood, my aerotop will be ok.
  15. Is that because the engine was goosed Marc? I struggled to get away from one of those 100Hp Fiat Pandas the other night. Very embarrasing for a Supra owner but then I'm N/A and going NA-T
  16. Just for future reference the Toyota part numbers are:- 28226-74070 28226-22050 I got a new cover and gasget for mine too which are:- 28159-55050 28175-55050
  17. Hahaha You dont have any NA-T bits spare do you?
  18. Im at work currently, at Toyota. Ill probably need help actually doing the NA-T conversion. That wont be a for a while yet though, need to collect all the bits first and the girlfriend is pressing me to move out with her
  19. Apparently I need to be a member of club NA-T before I can view its contents
