  1. I play a few games every now and again but I cant seem to do any good on go unlike source. Would be up for a few games sometime though!
  2. Looks great, I love that colour. For some odd reason its bugging me you don't have a front Toyota badge, I was considering removing mine but I don't think I will now haha.
  3. This happened to my HKS Silent earlier in the year. Wasn't worth repairing when I got it off.
  4. Ok so in my week off I have been looking into this and had some good and bad news. I started by swapping over a different throttle body with all sensors and a different ecu. It helped and the car didnt stall at all anymore but it did not want to rev properly. I then left it for the day and went back to it but now it starts but immediately dies and throws an engine code error. I have refitted the old ecu and throttle body and it still gets the same. The error code is 31 which I believe is the map sensor. On research online people mention the fcd and speedo converters to blame but I havent fitted these yet. Any help on what to try would be much appreciated.
  5. I haven't had a chance to look at anything else on mine due to work since cleaning the ICV. Its interesting that the other member having the same problem is an NA as mine is TT. I have actually done like you mention above and purchased a known working throttle body and inlet with sensors so ill swap that out on my week off next week and rule that out. I also have a new coolant temp sensor as it was only £7 and I want to do a coolant change also so seemed silly not too. Will get readings from it while I am at it.
  6. You should keep hoarding as well so when I need more I'm sorted haha. £50 Delivered sounds good to me. If you send me your paypal will get it straight over to you.
  7. Haha Yours spares seem to be building my car. How much do you want for it mate?
  8. Hi all, Looking for a stock TT ECU to rule it out of being the problem I'm having. Would prefer a manual one but can be auto as that is what I'm currently running anyway. Tim
  9. Just had a look at mine and cleaned out the icv and it made no difference. Looked at the ecu water temp sensor and it seems in an awkward place to get the probes on without taking it out so may wait and just order a new one. I have looked into the throttle body as well and I think it looks like someone has played with the throttle stop before I got the engine as appears to be tipex on the thread.
  10. I actually have the same issue after converting my NA to TT i was hoping for an easy fix. Mine it only happens when the car is up to temperature, is this the same for yours? I will start by cleaning the idle control valve and throttle body and see how it goes.
  11. I was enjoying the Beta of this at the weekend but I did find the controls a bit irritating. I don't know if this is because I have been playing a lot of Forza or it is just too arcade like for me. Seems to me its drift everything or nothing. Did any one else play the beta and struggle with it?
  12. Hi all I'm looking for a cat temp sensor if anyone has one. Tim
  13. This could be perfect timing as I have a feeling I will need these for my MOT in a weeks time! Will be going from a 285 35 18 to a 285 40 18 will it make much difference? I will take them posted please!
  14. Could be different but I had the exact same problem you describe on my Manual NA. After replacing most of the sensors and cleaning everything I ended up buying a second hand ecu from here, once I plugged that in all of the problems were cured.
  15. Can't really give an opinion on the whole NA-T route Jake as I haven't even been in one. As you know I have converted mine using a TT Lump and the swap itself was not hard and I really do not regret it but the big problem I had was I didn't look into getting the right engine and it cost me more in the long run. I got excited and bought the first one that came along and unfortunately it was already out the car so when I fitted it turned out the second turbo was dead. So If you go this route make sure you see it running and get taken out in it before you agree to purchase. On another note if you were looking to NA-T and wanted a spare NA engine to mock up with I have mine still doing nothing
  16. I could be wrong but isnt that the Exhaust Temperature Warning light? If it is the sensor is in the cat so I would check they haven't collapsed or got blocked

  18. Hi all, Almost finished replacing the turbo's on my supra and wondered about the procedure for priming them with oil so they don't run dry on the first start up. Is it a case of stopping the fuel pump and turning it over so the oil circulates? If so which fuse is it to stop the fuel pump starting?
  19. Ahh you right my fault that is an Actuator isn't it. I will try and bend it back tonight see if I can get it straight. I didnt want to force anything and ruin it completely.
  20. So having yet another problem while replacing turbo (Starting to wish id never started this NA-TT Conversion now). I converted my NA-TT but on doing this found the second turbo was dead. Now after fighting to get the old ones off turns out they are UK spec on a J Spec engine. The Replacements I bought are j-spec but have clearly been dropped in transit. (see below pic) Can I transfer the wastegate from the uk spec turbos to the j-spec or are these different? They look the same.
  21. Thanks for replies guys. I will try and find a bar to go over the spanner be a bit more difficult underneath I feel. I've clearly eaten no weetabix at all Chris as I can't move them at all haha.
  22. Looking for some help as im so close but now stuck. Im changing my stock twins as the second one has died, i have stripped everything down but i just cant get then off. I cannot undo the 4 bolts on each turbo that attach them to the manifold. I cant seem to get a socket on them as its either too small to get to the nut over the stud or just too big to get the ratchet on after. I also dont have the leverage to undo them with a spanner. What have other people used? Any links to a better socket or anything? Pics below of where im at.
  23. I will be watching this closely as I have some UK specs I need to do the same to and was unsure how they went together.
  24. Interesting that you were thinking of taking your skirts off the car. I was actually thinking about the same thing but im worried what I will happen if I take the rear spats off.
  25. Well i have been out and changed all the lines and checked the intercooler pipe and no change. Put it back in to TTC and tried again and no change again. I have a feeling however the second turbo is the cause of my issues. When I accelerate and then come of the throttle I am noticing white smoke from the exhaust (cant tell if its white or blue as rear window is tinted but its a light colour!) Does this sound consistent with a blown second turbo?
