  11. I've got a strange crunching/gravel type noise which seems to be coming from a black box top right in the engine bay. Is this normal? is it broke? whats it doing? type questions. Many thanks as always Stephen V

    Rear Badge Question

Yep, you can, i bought mine off Gordon F last year at JAE. they werent £much from what i can remember. They were designed to stick on the brake calipers. They are already sticky taped and looks like they have been laser cut from thin (less than 1mm) brushed ali. 2 sizes... er small & large:) regards Stephen V
  15. I'll try and be there, probably for the Saturday, alhtough its my wife's birthday so i'll have to do some really good talking. Thinking about it, all that is going to happen is Justin whipping my arse again down the strip;) Hope to see you there. Regards Stephen V
  16. Not quite. I took the the PLASTIC block of the boot, but left the RUBBER block on the car alone. Regards Stephen
  17. Cheers for that. I'll get ordering then Regards Stephen
  18. I'm only used to the Tein HA. Adjustable height and dampening. I've got it on the sofetest setting which is fine for most roads, & i live in the sticks (even my wife doesnt mind it), although i thought it was a tad too stiff to begin with but liveable. I've now got used to it and might even set it a bit stiffer. The stiff setting (theres 16 by the way) is unbareably hard. Its lowered slightly and running on 17". Not much help in comparisons i'm afraid, but if your ever in the Suffolk/JAE your more than welcome to have go. Regards Stephen V
  19. As it says. Absolute bliss. No more knocking, & i can open the boot without it catching still on the latch, meaning i;ve got to take the keys out. I just used some 1mm acrylic adhesive tape under the palstic block on the boot, rather than changing the rubbers on the car. Worked a treat so far. I assume this is an ok way of sorting the problem? + these plastic blocks came off really easy with a socket wrench - dont know if these were/are suppossed to be glued into position. (havent looked at the srews for rubbers though) Cheers Stephen V
  20. Grazer, They do look very good indeed, well done. Did you order yours from your links above? Mine still look nice and shiney but because i'm a num nut i scratched them a bit with a really old well worn out washing up spange type thing:devil: i dont know weather to get Novus 2 Fine Scratch remover as the scratches arnt too bad, although noticable. How did you find it? Regards Stephen V
  21. No idea about NA's but i've got and only been used to HA's which i'm very happy with. On the stiff settings its hard hard as anything and the instruction dont recommend it, But on the softess setting its fine. Now that i've got used to it, i'll porbably stiffen it up a couple of notches, as some of the roads arent too bad. Probably no help:baa: Regards Stephen V

    Tsc4 Dvd

Has anyone ordered one of these? I've sent 2 e-mails with all my details on and they also took my details on the day but not a peep yet:( He did say that last year there was a bit of a delay and would try and sort things out a bit better this year. I should hopefully be filmed both in and out going down the strip. Regards Stephen
  23. YOUR FOOT!!!! Do you drive bare feet or something?? I suppose it helps for saving weight:) I havent felt down there - its too far away. I was on about further up, either side of the ash tray area. I did also notice this when queying up at Billing for god knows how long, but thought it was just the sun on it:conf: Regards Stephen V
