You cant get ppc in a clear, well at least not in an architectural finish.
Partly because when you pre-treat the aluminium before application it goes a shity yellowy green colour which most architects dont like plus the pigment is used to offer part of the protection.
The polyester powder coat is baked on at 200 degrees, but is guaranteed upto 120, although once set it wont melt again, but it does burn/char. At 200 degrees you should be ok, but near 300 it will start to discolour and eventually burn off (class 0 spread of flame – ie. it doesn’t catch fire)
Depends on what you want to finish but I would suggest Plasticote Clear Enamel which I think is ok for upto 400 degrees I think, and they even do a stove enamel for 600 degrees. B&Q sell it.
