a minor technicality

I have a Y-reg 1.0 corsa taxed till end of october and tested till april/may time. I want a little more for it than £500 but £750 and he can come get it

the engine is a 1.0 12v......sorry i thought I'd put that in the advert. Glad you've pointed out I didnt . I'm trying to rack my brains and paperwork for the exact mileage on the engine when I bought it but I can't find the exact figures. If my memory is right the mileage was roughly 70k on the new engine. (it was in the high 60k region but I'm gona stick with 70k to be on the safe side)

The alloys wheels have now been removed and are not included in the sale. Car will come with some standard 13" steel wheels and tyres Price reduced to £750 also

Well since the purchase of a celica today the corsa is no longer required and it needs a new home its a 2001 Y-reg GLS. 3 door. MOT till may Tax till end of october. Mileage just passed 100k miles The car has served me very well for the past 12 months. I bought it with no compression on cylinder 2 (which turned out to be a broken valve) The next day i threw in a newer,lower mileage engine and its ran perfectly since. It was serviced a few months back with new oil,filter,air filter,spark plugs. Last year it got a new coil pack. For the MOT in may it got a new front spring and a new wishbone on the front. For me the car was perfect apart from the low power. Its group 1 insurance,cheap to run and insure,cheap on fuel. Only real issues to report are that the engine light came on a while back. The code was for a crankshaft position sensor. Apparently this is common on these engines as its a plastic tensioner on the timing chain and it wears slightly causing the sensor to throw a code and illuminate the light. The car still drives fine and it doesnt seem to affect driveability at all. anyway. I'm after £900 for the car heres some pics. couldnt agree more with that one. Each kit is a work of art !!! I still think mattysupra should by my kit to use in the mean time till he gets himself a whifbitz kit

I regards to the manifold I'm selling with the kit. If you have a look at the pictures on my for sale thread. You'll see I had the manifold braced up from the engine flange to the turbo flange. This should hopefully stop any of the cracking that was associated with the xs power manifold. The welding was all done by a proffesional tig welder and the manifold is a very very sturdy piece. give the kit a bash. At the worst you can change it for a cast one if you need to down the line

yup. Only on low boost though. Bigger injectors and a piggyback were the next move. But I decided to bite the bullet and get a much larger kit etc etc

I got the AFR's checked on my aristo and it was running fine at the wastegate pressure (0.7bar) everything was fine. To get the most of the kit it'd definately need a remap or ecu of some sort.

i ran the kit with some basic BPU mods (255lph fuel pump, 3" exhaust, colder spark plugs, boost controller) You'll also max out the injectors when the boost is turned up so you'd need to fit uprated injectors to get the best from the kit

This kit is still here Need it gone first person with £600 for the kit and the postage costs get's it ! (kit is in two 15kg boxes so should be about £40 to post it via the royal mail) come on guys. Can't believe I still have this !!

I wont make the convoy guys Hopefully gonna be picking my car up from down south and driving up to the pod on friday/saturday if all goes well with the mapping etc

I'm gonna have to bail out of this convoy guys. The aristo wont be ready till just before suprapod so I'm gonna pick it up and drive straight to the pod after collecting it.
