for sale supra turbo airbox and panel filter
kwalker705 replied to kwalker705's topic in Parts for Sale
cheers Johnny. Was going to fit it to my car but something else has come up so need to sell on as much stuff as possible to fund future plans. I'll manage to pick up another airbox later on . -
Bought this very recently and it's now surplus to requirement as I;ve had a change of plans. Box is in good condition. One of the hinges is broken but the box still closes up fine with the one hinge and 2 clips. Comes with fairly new panel filter that's apparently only done 800 miles. MAF sensor still attached also. Looking for SOLD pics

for sale single turbo kit , oil cooler kit some misc parts
kwalker705 posted a topic in Parts for Sale
After deciding not to continue with my single turbo aristo project part's for the conversion will now be up for sale. Single turbo kit The turbo is a Holset H1C turbo. It has a 3" V-band connector on the exhaust and a 90' bend welded onto the inducer. Only oil cooled. The turbo has only been ran when road testing the car to check for leaks etc. Turbo has only seen 0.8Bar of boost. This turbo is believed to be good for up to 600bhp. Manifold is believed to be an XS power manifold. It was a T4 flange and has had a T3 flange/adaptor TIG welded onto it. I had the manifold braced up to ensure it had a little extra support . Wastegate is a 50mm XS power wastegate Screamer pipe has been modified and rewelded in a slightly different position so it clears the Aristo steering column 3" Downpipe with v-band flange and fitting for standard lambda sensor. Oil feed line is a braided line witht he correct fittings. A blank for the 2nd oil feed will be supplied with the kit. A modified supra/aristo oil drain will be supplied also to fit the turbo. Price - £750 plus postage Driftworks Ultimate Oil cooler kit Brand new. Parts were only removed from packaging to check them. Kit comes with oil cooler, filter relocator, sandwich plate, all braided lines, all aeroquip fitting in black and even an alloy shifter and vice clamps for aeroquip fittings. Price - £425 plus postage J-spec front brake calipers and pads Taken from a toyota Aristo. In excellent condition with EBC yellow stuff brake pads. Still 8mm of 'meat' left on each pad. No track use etc Price - £100 plus postage Pictures will be taken and posted up tommorow when its daylight -
I have a broken bolt/stud on the clamp that hold the front turbo 'guts' into the exhaust housing. Looking for a replacement clamp before refitting the turbo's

any updates on this problem ??? I have something similar going on with my Aristo at the moment and I'm still looking for a solution
-
Bit of an update on the car and what's been happening lately.. Put the car in for it's MOT even with it still stalling at times. The car failed it's MOT on 1 thing. emmision's at fast idle the emmisions were fine. At low idle the emmisions were through the roof !! I'm going to assume the high emmisions and stalling are linked. I decide to change the MAF sensor, water temp sensor and lambda sensor to rule them out but the car is still having issues with stalling after being revved past 4000 revs. Looking for more advice folks . the car idles fine. drives fine but if you come off the throttle quickly after being at 4k and the rev's drop quick it just dies !! I've tried upping the idle but it still happens even at a 1000rpm idle. Is there any possibility this could be an ecu issue ??? The battery was flat after sitting for the winter and wondered if reconnecting the battery after it being flat would cause any issues !. Or even if there is a diagnostic software available for me to use If the cost's wern't too high I'd be willing to look into getting that to help diagnose the problems

Will an Supra FCD fit an Aristo ECU and vise versa?
kwalker705 replied to Blackie's topic in Supra Chat
I have to say.......that is probably the world's best 'how to' guide !!!!!! A truely talented fellow must have written that !!! -
casualty probably wont touch it as it's not an open wound. I got a massive splinter in my finger years ago and didnt realise never properly removed it all. Well 2 weeks later I realised that it wasnt hard scar tissue in my finger but a roughly 7-8mm long piece of the splinter. Went to casualty. They wouldnt touch it. Went to the doctors, got X rays but the xrays didn't show up anything (probably becaue the radiographer wouldn't listen when i showed her where the splinter was)........anyway. Although the doctor could feel the splinter under the skin she wouldn't open up my finger because the Xray wasn't clearly showing anything in there. sooooo........5 years later it's still in there....I'm poking at it just now actually.....quite freaky being able to push it out against my skin and seeing this little pointy thing poking out. My finger will likely fester and fall off soon !!

hey folks. Need some advice. I've recently converted my toyota Aristo to a single turbo. The car was off the road for about 4 months. I finally got the car back together but there seem's to be an issue with the car. When I'm on boost and come off the throttle and decelerate quickly the rev's drop quickly right to the point when the car stalls just as i stop. If I drive normally and slow down gradually in good time for junctions the car acts as normal and doesn't stall. Anyone experienced anything the same or can anyone help identify the problem ??

Got a question for the guy's running single turbo's How did you guys run your turbo oil return lines....I specifically want to know what you did in regards to the housing where the oil returns connect to the sump. There are two return line connections on it but on a single turbo there is only one return line. Did you guy's just blank up the unused return ? Or did you fabricate/buy a new housing with one connection specifically for a single turbo ? Any advice would be great as I'm not 100% sure on what the best way forward is.

I had a set on my old S14 silvia. They looked good , stood up well to the weather salt ont he roads. Even after I was done with them and had broken the car I still got good money for them. Make sure they come with the centre caps and the small allen bolt's that attach them to the wheel

Been looking for some part's to fit to my JZS161 toyota Aristo Had a look on the PHR website and noticed they sell EGR system blanks. Does anyone have these on there car at the moment ? If so did you notice any difference in the car after fitting them ? Or are they just nice shiney red plates ? Any advice or info would be great cheers
