  1. I'll measure it up in the morning. Think it's a 60mm. But I'm always going to over estimate sizes The gauge comes out of the bracket . and i can't for the life of me remeber what colour it lights up in (think it's a pale blue/green). I'll attach it to a 12v source in the morning too and let you know the colour of it.
  2. apexi boost gauge. Came with my aristo. No longer required comes with wiring, gauge bracket thingy and vac hose. looking for £45 delivered anywhere in mainland uk
  3. got given one as a gift. No use to me as I already have one still sealed up in the little clear case. I'm not sure about all the features on this one. anyone in the know will already know what it is and what its capable of these are £120ish brand new I'll sell it for £105 posted anywhere in the uk.
  4. Holy crappola.....had to google images of the drivetrain set up on the GTR after seeing this pics. I had no idea the box was so far back. first thing I though was 'my goodness that's a very big diff' Is this classed as a transaxle set-up ?? I've never ever seen anything like it before !!
  5. Not a supra....but it's a nice colour combination Personally I'd maybe go a little darker on the red of the wheels. Maybe to more of a crimson colour
  6. very impressive looking GTR. is there any plans to change the colours of the painted engine components under the bonnet ?? I feel the yellow/green/blue combo doesnt tie in to well with the black/white theme going on in the rest of the car. Is the yellow on the engine a nod to Jun who built the engine ?? They paint all theyre cars yellow dont they ??
  7. specialist alignment tool = socket extension bar wrapped in tape
  8. i know the best security in the world wont stop a thief. But it can certainly be a deterant. all it takes is 1 minutes for 4 guys in a unsecure dimmly lit car park with a jack each, some locking wheel nut removal tools and impact wrenches to aquire 3k or wheels and tyres off a car. Plus a car alarm wont deter vandals. But all this is kinda beside the point. It was car theft I was more focusing on in my post. As long as you other guys staying there have faith in the place then that gives me plenty peace of min... plus why would they take a subtle aristo when they can have a chavvy supra to go joyriding in:p
  9. set of slightly used yellow stuff EBC brake pads for front J-spec brakes Came off my aristo 8-9mm of pad left on each one. looking for £40 for the set
  10. In light of the recent theft of the japspeed impreza from santa pod it's got me thinking. There are going to be a very large number of expensive impreza's at santa pod. What sort of security is going to be attending on the day. And for the ibis hotel. How secure is there car park ?? Cause it's going to be ram packed with supra's and other motor's for the weekend. Going to draw a little attention surely !! Do they have CCTV ? Would it be worth asking the hotel to maybe arrange for a nightwatch man or security attendant in the car park for the weekend. I'd happily pay an extra few ££ ontop of my room fee to ensure my car is safe for the weekend.

  12. I think track car insurance only covers cars for damage when there used on an MSA approved track. Being that these drift car's are usually used on improvised tracks then I doubt it would apply. Hopefully the car is fully road legal and is insured for proper amount so at least he's not out of pocket. He may also have it covered by his business insurance as an asset as in essence its a marketing tool and is probably registered to the business
  13. tickets booked booked for the strip too
  14. yup. I think you'll like it when you see it. It's actually down in cambridge at the moment getting a 6 speed box fitted and a whifbitz S366 turbo kit put on. I'm offshore at the moment. Home on friday next week if all goes well. That'd be good . I'd wouldn't mind a look at your supra. I'll have to make a meet in aberdeen some time too
  15. cool. Well I'll let you guy's know nearer the time with my rotation etc. but put my name down on the list if you like
  16. If I'm home from offshore would anyone mind if I tagged along in my aristo ???
  17. how do you tell if there magnesium or not ? are there indicating markings on them ?? or is it down to the weight of them ?
  18. looking good. You'll need to post up some video's of it once it's mapped.....bet it's an animal
  19. I'm also willing to swap this for some 18" alloys of a similar value
  20. I've done 100 miles on the set up (to and from the MOT station) and it's been removed to make way for a new whifbitz manifold, bullseye S366 etc etc The previous owner say's he did 50 miles on it before his car failed it's MOT and was broken for spares. The recirc valve, k+N, downpipe and silicone hoses have only been on my car so are basically 100 miles old I've not had any issues with the kit apart from me needing to fit the recirc valve. But I think this was due to my aristo using a MAF sensor as opposed to the supra's MAP system. The downpipe and screamer pipe's heatwrap has been removed and isn't included in the sale.
  21. Due to aiming for more power from my aristo , the current turbo set-up is now up for sale it's a pretty comprehensive load of parts and will include everything apart from a few little blanking plugs All these parts were on my mk2 aristo and should fit any a supra with a little modification to the downpipe. for your money you'll get stainless steel manifold (braced up to add strength) XS power 50mm wastegate screamer pipe 3" custom made downpipe with OEM lambda sensor fitting Holset H1C turbo manifold gaskets turbo gasket turbo bolts 3" V-band clamp for downpipe(not in the best condition but worked fine) turbo to intercooler pipe with recirc valve T-in forge 007 recirc valve in black 4"-3" 45' elbow with recirc valve return line 2x 2" black silicon joiners 3x 2" mikalor clamps 9" K&N cone filter oil feed line (braided stainless) oil return line (modified OEM items from aristo. May need modified to fit supra) The turbo kit was bought by myself from another member and it was modified slightly to suit my needs and to give reliability to some of the parts. I've done approximately 100 miles with the turbo and the previous owner did 50 before removal The turbo housing is marked with an 18 which indicates that it's an 18cm' exhaust housing. This means the turbo should be good to give in the region of 500bhp with other supporting modifications. The price is £700 + postage + paypal fee's if paying by paypal All parts included in the sale are pictured below (oil feed and return no in the pic)
