  1. Thanks, it has had a lot of time, effort and money poured into it, but all of the work has been the efforts of others, so I can't take credit for that. I'm just proud to own it
  2. Cheers. Started life as a white N/A auto aerotop and was converted to a single turbo 6spd TRD wide body by Hodge, another member on here. It's currently at SRD having a bit of a revamp. May be the best way for you to get what you're after..... start with a cheaper white N/A aerotop and build it up to the spec you want over time.
  3. Welcome to the forum My only advice is.... DON'T rush into buying a Supra. Be prepared to wait and pay for the spec you really want and you'll be rewarded in the end. You'll only regret it if you end up settling for something less. My dream Supra spec was close to yours, but made even more improbable due to the fact I really wanted a TRD wide body car. After over 4 years of searching I got what I wanted in the end and I'm glad I waited P.S...... I paid more than £20k for my car and the spec you describe is most definitely going to be around that price point due to it's rarity and desirability.
  4. I should be there in the ginger 350Z may bring the Mrs along too.
  5. That's good news, thanks for the feedback
  6. I love the noise of the Nur Spec and it's my favourite exhaust on a BPU Supra, but sadly they don't do a larger bore than 3", so it would be too restrictive with my spec (on the limit already with the draggers 3.75" and may have to move to a 4" system in the future).
  7. In that case the Dragger is a good compromise..... It's reasonably civilised at idle with just a nice deep burble and then when you push the loud pedal it howls quite nicely:)....... higer pitched than say a Blitz Nur Spec and a more refined, some may say 'classy' noise, than the downright dirty, insane noise of something like a HKS Ti or Boost logic:eyebrows:.
  8. I have a dragger, but it's the 3.75" version. If I recall correctly, I think they did a smaller version too?
  9. DISKS?! The word is DISCS!
  10. Cool, interested to see how the fit is with a re-skin. I'm still trying to find someone who is able to carbon skin the lower lip of my TRD front bumper (rather than just having it carbon wrapped as it is now) if anyone knows of anybody? I want something similar to the carbon lower lip cover you can get for the OEM 350Z front bumper made up..... http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/70300-carbon-lip-cover/ I think this would be quite popular with all those sporting a TRD front bumper with the center 'tooth' removed if I could get a few made up by someone. Al Massey was looking into it with a carbon specialist guy he knew, but I don't think it's gone anywhere. Any help or advice anyone could give with this would be much appreciated
  11. That looks great! Good to know that refurb work like this is possible with carbon fibre. Do you know exactly what the refurb process involves to restore the carbon to this level of finish? Surely a new 'skin' of carbon would increase the original thickness of the bonnet? I'm intrigued.
  12. My best 1/4 was 13.00secs @ 109mph at Santa Pod. Car was running approx 300bhp with basic upgrades... (Hybrid CT26 turbo from Turbo Technics running 1.2 bar on an Apexi AVCR BC, GReddy intercooler, Mongoose exhaust, Apexi cone filter, Cusco LSD, RPS clutch etc.)
  13. I have a rev3 MR2 turbo running about 300bhp. They're great fun and amazing 'bang for your buck'. I used mine as a daily for a while and they are juicy and not much fun at all during the winter. They are not easy to drift or recover when the tail kicks out a lot due to the majority of the weight being over the rear with the mid engine setup (acts like a pendulum when the rear breaks traction). Mine's in a lockup and I haven't used it in ages. Really must dig her out again soon for a spin. Here she is at Santa Pod a few years ago.....
  14. Thanks for the heads up Jellybean Lee will be fitting my under tray while the car is at SRD, so I'm sure he'll modify it accordingly where it needs it in order to fit. It'll be Lee doing all the oil changes on mine, so I'm sure he'll mod it to prevent him having to remove the front bumper every time I need an oil change
  15. Hi and welcome to the forum I'm from Kent too. I'm in Ashford, whereabouts are you located? Quite a few Supras around the Kent area now
  16. Looking great dude You must be like a kid waiting for Christmas! Lol Can't wait until mine is that close to being finished.
  17. Maybe something like this on the underside of the bonnet?..... Or better, a similar idea with electronic solenoids to operate the latch mechanisms if you can find it (same as is used on some fuel filler flaps).
  18. Nooooooooo! That poor lovely clean stock bonnet Surely there's another way???
  19. Yeah I can't wait either mate!
