  1. Ditto Luc, I will be wanting to go wider than 315 too.
  2. I saw this Tony and thought WTF?! I think it would be great to ring them up and sound like you are genuinely interested. Then if you can get them to agree to meet for a viewing (which is unlikely I know) show up in your Sup and then give them a bit of a 'talking to'. Mind you, there's a small chance that the scammer might be a Mike Tyson clone and that probably wouldn't end well lol
  3. Oooo I want me some of those domed nuts for the top mounts! Looks awesome mate!
  4. Please tell me this monstrosity was not your doing Aimie! http://ebay.to/1zccsza
  5. Stick with it mate, you're gunna be left with one hell of a car at the end of it and I'm looking forward to driving to some meets with you when mine is done
  6. Any update on getting your carbon guy to make a carbon cover for the TRD front bumper lip that I mentioned to you a while back Al? Would need to be minus the centre 'tooth' for me too.
  7. Maybe his 'lady car' would want it spelt that way lol
  8. My car got named 'The Kraken' (not by me I might add)...... Hmmmmm....... I've not met many girls called Kraken or a feminine pink Kraken for than matter?........ starting to think there might be something wrong with my cars name now PS.... There's girls present, so no jokes about my lack of pink Kraken experience please
  9. He'll be naming his car Aimee next lol
  10. This is a great, very well thought out response Mellonman . It puts into words extremely well what I was mentioning in another thread I posted about screamer pipes.... http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?317899-Twin-screamer-pipe-sound-clips&highlight=Twin+screamer You could be the next Chris Wilson at this rate mate lol
  11. Good point Mellonman, but I'd guess that the power lost to this extra 'sound energy' would be extremely minimal and probably undetectable on a dyno...... Just a guess mind, but would be interesting to test the standard and modded compressor housings back to back on a dyno to see if there was a detectable difference in power output.
  12. Twin screamer pipes Luc but this 'whistle' is a sound that you'd hear more while the turbo is spooling, before the waste gates open up and the screamer pipes start..... Er...... Screaming lol
  13. Just need to get Luc to hurry up and order his 6870 now and we'll have a trio of them to play with
  14. Please do anything but pink Aimee...... Poor Supra :-/
  15. Watching that makes me want one of those 'super spool' modified compressor housings for my 6870 even more! Lol
  16. Awesome! Gotta love that spooling whistle!
  17. No QSV here Just highlighting an instance when an open mani and divided housing setup would be required.
