  1. Are you sure its not just the turbos your hearing now. After fitting an induction kit to mine your can really hear the turbos, especially the first one. I would have thought with a less restrictive airfilter more noise from the turbo would travel out the air inlet pipe easier
  2. They dont have to be oem, just fancied something with a bit more side support. Knowing Toyota fitted them from new I thought this might be the easier option, how wrong was I. I borrowed my brothers 15 year old M5 the other day and the recaros in that felt so much better than my seats which is what started all this. Il check out the speed ambla option though.
  3. Did you mean $5,300, good job im sitting down!!!!! So basically we are looking at £500 for a pair of second hand cloth plus a retrim in leather, say another £500.
  4. I have some nice condition black leather std front seats in the car at the moment, but fancied changing these for the Recaros. I was just wondering if the Recaros in the Supras came in just cloth, leather or both, and secondly as I assume they're a small fortune for new ones from Mr T, what sort of prices do they go for second hand. Some people on here seem to have fitted ones from other cars, is this just a case of modifying the supra rails to fit
  5. Ive got the one i changed on mine cos the bushes were shot but the ball joint is okay.
  6. Cheers guys, i know Steve quite well. He's only 10 mins from where i live, very handy i can tell you. Thanks again Al
  7. :search:That obviously went way above your head unless you're returning my sarcasm. Id settle for just one!!!
  8. Motors fine, just the cables had it. Il give steve a call tomorrow. Cheers
  9. The cable on mines toast so looking for a good condition drivers side window regulator and motor. If anyones got one between Oxford and the Portsmouth/Southampton area i will be travelling down there tomorrow so could collect. Cheers
  10. Well, you guys were right. Took the door card of just now and the cable is frayed in 2 places, right by the motor itself and right next to the fastener that holds it to the glass. When you raise or lower it there is also greenish colour powdered plastic coming out of the housing by the motor, presumably where the frayed bits of cable are chewing up the plastic inside. I've just read another post from today by Kazama 76 where he's changing just the motor but is having real trouble. Would i therefore be better getting a whole regulator assembly with motor rather than one without the motor?
  11. Have you tried putting one of the front wheels on the back just to get up the slope then swap them back round!!!
  12. Il whip it off in the next couple of days and post my findings, it does sound like it might be the cable though

Was thinking of changing the look of my car and wondered if anyone has any pictures of a Supra with a Trial Rear Bumper, TRD Spoiler and OEM Sideskirts, obviously all on the same car. Mines standard externally apart from wheels at the moment and fancied a change depending on how the combination looks Cheers
  20. That would be great if you could, il have to check with the missus though as i vaguely recollect something about picking her up from Portsmouth either Monday or Tuesday. Il PM you when i know, Thankyou
  21. Hi I have a problem with the drivers window. When going up or down there is now a horrible grinding noise and it sounds the next time could be the last time it works. Is this an easy fix with some grease or do i need a new motor/mechanism etc
  22. Its definately std, not on bump stops either. Is it possible for shocks to sieze up?
  23. Hi everybody, My car is driving me nuts to the point im not enjoying driving it much anymore. The problem is the suspension is way too hard and crashes over the bumps nearly loosening my fillings. I know the car is running 18" wheels with 35 tyres but it has standard Toyota Bilstein suspension and was hard before i changed the wheels. Now its impossible to live with. Is there anything i can do to soften it up without compromising handling or changing the wheels. Are there any good aftermarket set ups out there:(
  24. Maybe, mine went completely dead last year but turned out to be the connections loose on the control module on the floor under the seat. Mine wasn't even trying to move so i guess yours is a different problem. Maybe something inside the mechanisms jammed, theres only 4 bolts to take the seat out and have a look underneath. Thats if you can move it enough to get access to the bolts, if not you could try blocks of wood on the pedals lol!!
