  1. US Supra 6spd differential ratio is 3.133:1, UK/EU/Japan Supra 6spd differential ratio is 3.267.
  2. ^ As Dnk says, wise words. Take a good look of the car and properly test and inspect it, then decide if it is suitable for you.
  3. Take a good look all over the car, spend time to look and inspect it everywhere you can as good as you can. Take the car for a drive, test that everything in the driveline works, how the car feels while you are driving it. It has high miles but it does not necessary mean the car is bad. If it has spent it`s life as "easy" as you said, properly warmed up before entering to highway and has been enjoyed proper and regular services, it actually might still be a car worth investment. And post a couple pictures of it when you have inspect and tested it! Good luck!
  4. Maybe you just could bolt this http://smartercharger.com/accessories/#CTEK%20Comfort%20Connect comfort connect plug to your battery terminals and leave the Ctek charger inside of the boot? Just pull the cord (long enough) from the inside of your shed/ house and simply just plug it in the charger. I have had Ctek chargers over a ten years now and I think they are really good. They massively improve the lifespan of your car battery as the battery does not go flat/die. Much better than a jump start if you ask my opinion.
  5. Totally agree. After seeing LHD one 4 years ago in the Tokyo Toyota Mega Web Historic Garage in Venus Fort. Absolutely gorgeus!
  6. I`ve got the SGS struts on my boot. You have to send your old boot struts to SGS as they need to install the fasteners from your old struts to the new ones. Really excellent item, very good quality indeed.
  7. You are in the same boat as I am, I bought a new HKS T51R Kai single kit back in 2007 but I never installed it and sold the kit away (I should have kept it..). But today I´m happy I did not ended up to single my car (There is nothing wrong with the single Supras when everything has been carried out right (quality built in every way)).
  8. ^As above, really awesome project!

    Getrag Dilema

I have the Getrag V161 with the B04D (3.538:1) diff and I think it is a really nice combo in use. My car is BPU+++.
  10. Really! You found your old car? That`s brilliant!
  11. One of my Supra friend had the similar type of problem with the Euro Spec car. There was a boost gauge installed in the place of the stock clock and he preferred the stock clock back to the car. After he changed the clock back to the stock clock location the clock worked perfectly fine but the temperature display did not show anything. Display was like it would have been switched off. He tried two another clocks too, but in this case the actual fault was in the car AC ecu. With new AC ecu installed clock/temperature meter has been worked fine. He`s car is LHD but the replacement AC ecu was from the Jdm RHD Supra. The most odd thing in this case was that the AC of the car worked perfectly fine with the old AC ecu. Only thing that faulty AC ecu did was the Euro/UK clock temperature display was like switched off.
  12. ^Someone did a really good job by customizing the photo of A80 Supra above. I think it looks really good!
  13. No, all facelift lights/lamps are with plastic lenses. Only Euro-/UK headlights are equipped with glass lenses.
  14. Maybe head lamp washers has been installed/fitted to the car afterward as there were not head light washers available on the other markets than the UK.
  15. Tokyo is a amazing place! I have been there three times and hope to visit again! I have visited in the Toyota Megaweb three times but never seen a Supra in there. But have seen the pictures about the JGTC Supras displayed in the past. There is usually the new models displayed. Also every kind of concept stuff displayed too. Gazoo racing`s showroom is also in the same building. If you have the international driver license you have the opportunity to test drive different Toyota cars. There`s also the Toyota Historic garage in the Venus Fort and they currently run the Toyota WRC cars theme. There is also Grease Garage shop & cafe in the down stairs. There is also King Buyer in the Chiba area if you want to visit and see the cars and Supras they sell. Last week they had roughly 30 Supras in for sale at the time (+ Skylines, Silvias, etc.).
  16. I`m not sure would this help you at all, but I noticed this at carandclassic.co.uk: http://www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C756898 I don`t know this car any better, I just have followed your wanted thread quite long time and I know these cars are getting harder and harder to find year by year. Hope this helps.
