Hey everyone, ive got 2 little problems on the supra that need to be sorted, my only problem is, i dont know what the cause could be. Here they are *Auto shifter + speedo cluster illumination *Passenger side headlight fog to be fixed (all other front lights work just fine) I know by law we dont need front fogs, but id like it to work propely. What could be the cause of these 2 problems?? Thanks, Kevin

Wet and dry it, get it dull, use some plastic holts primer, and some matt black paint, satin will be more stock looking:) should do the trick, most people ive seen who paint their lips use normal primer, which drys much harder than plastic primer which must have flex added to it, as rubber bends a bit and wont crack and let the paint go compared to normal primer:) hth Kev

No mate, im selling the mirrors, if someone wants them thats fine...not going out of my way on this one to just get pics of the clips, as they need to be wired in to prefacelifts.

Since the 90's ive grown up with white cars, so its always been a colour id go for on a car, now seeing all these modern cars in white just makes me what the supra painted in white, im with you, i think white is the car colour for 2009-2010

back to the trim, if your just going to cut the original plastic one, and blend it to the skirt, i wouldnt recommend it, fibreglass and plastic dont go well together;)

Thats what im now thinking:D Couple hundred going to be doing it myself, cars not looking to healthy in primer, going to strip her down at home, and do it all myself, did all the body work and know i can pull this of from what ive been learning:D

Thats an easy peasy fix for anyone who works with fibreglass, take a mould of the stock trim in fibreglass, cut the top part that the 3 screws go in, and mould it to the front of the skirt, job done. Will give a much cleaner/stock look to it:)
