the lip that the bolts go through are riveted to the main skirt, look futher in and up and you should see the bolts, if you see rivets do to not open them.

Well, i wired them in today, and THEY WORK!! , only problem is my battery was dying so the mirros kept getting slower and slower on testing so when my primera is at home tomorrow (has the supras calcium battery) ill give them a proper go! so far so good. Oh and ill be doing a tutorial for the fitting of fold in mirrors:)

Same here, i just had round card on the back and front of each rims taped down cost round £40-50 dont pay anymore than that for 4 rims fitted with tyres

And ive been in 2 near airplane crashes...first one i was younger and didnt really know much...was on a L1011 tristar over the caribbean sea and the door towards the front came loose..went back and had the door changed :S we were grounded for like 3 hrs, wouldnt even let us out. 2nd one i was older, over the caribbean sea near barbados on a night flight. Most people were sleeping including my mum next to me...all of a sudden the A340 just goes into a dive..was all shaking and making horrible noises itself with the sound of gravel hitting the outside...after a few mins the pilot comes on a says we lost cabbin pressure and dropped from 30,000ft to 10,000 and had to turn back to trinidad...what was the point when we were over barbados:S That one was terrible and will stay with me for the rest of my life. but those 2 could of ended up as fatalitys, BIG TIME.

Heres my story, a few mates and me were going out of town on a night out, 2 cars, both friends. One just passed his test and was doing his first motorway drive in his ratted out civic, while the other has a bmw and was driving the longest out of all of us. When the new driver came over i asked him about how he felt about driving and if he was confident, i got a 'urmmmmm yea. Every one was located in the cars and split but i kicked up a little fuss and wouldnt go with him...my mind was just telling me DONT. So another mate who wasnt bothered swapped. Half way there on the motorway i hear from our driver 'SHIT!!!!!' looked back and the civic span out in the fast lane surrounded by huge lorrys and a few normal size cars with a load of smoke higher than the trees..wheel completley came of the rim, rim had a flat surface, no body was hurt but i walked away from that one before it even happened. Aparrently he braked hard while crossing over into the middle lane.

New cables for the window mechs? or has the motor gone to? that shouldnt be hard to diy. But for a vw 'expert' you'd expect them to order the right bits when parts numbers are supplied, if hes such a expert he should of thought about different models and should know that the prefacelift and facelift models have different parts...wouldnt call him an expert...bleeding amateur. Hope you get it sorted, i know how it feels, especially when you look foward to recieving the parts.

Hi all, ive got my old bootlid sitting in the gargae, in silver, stock spoiler was smoothed out but some holes have cracked through , no boot light or emblems, glass with purple tint which is bubbling, trim could do with replacing, and there a 4 holes as someone previously had a aluminium ebay wing on it, so part of the frame that the interior trim covers has be cut away, free to collect from northampton or its going in the the tip. if the engine lights flashing and its not boosting, turbos gone?

Just my thoughts, if he was doing a good speed and the pipe popped of, these would run through my head sparks(missfiring)? headgasket on its way out? exhaust/manifold gaskets?

Ah forgot to mention i also did the engine fuse box, also nothing, all are fine, maybe mine is missing and i dont know? any one got wiring diargams for the speedo cluster and auto shifter unit? or fuse locations? Kev

Hi all, my 3 speedos on the dash and auto shifter dont illuminate with the lights anymore, so when im driving at night i cant see my speed/petrol/selected gear, which is really an issue for me. Been sorting all my supras electrical problems recently but this one remains, dimmer switch dosent work either, found a blown 10 amp fuse in the footwell, replaced it but still nothing. Any help will be great! Thanks, Kevin

Need a good condition stock back box and mid pipe upto the catalyitc converter, must beed in ok condition, no dents, no hole/blowing and cheap. Thanks, Kevin

Not to clever when it come to turbos, but they only need bov's for extra pressure that needs to be released when slowing down, wont do nothing on the na unless its got forced induction and needs to get rid of extra pressure, which im afraid stock na's dont. Unless yours is NA-T? Would be cool, i get what your asking. But NO for a stock na.
