  1. Have you tried talking to Cihan ([email protected])? He has a very good reputation with the Victorian Supra Club.
  2. Interested. I'll PM you when I get more time later this afternoon.
  3. Interested - what are the specifics of the rail? (UK or JDM)?
  4. I've considered changing my forum moniker (it's the numberplate of my car, and I thought it was amusingly apt at the time blah blah blah) but at least people who meet me are forewarned that I'm a pain in person too.
  5. I'm classed as a "contractor" - but as my billable hours are purely dependent on how many victims.. er.. *patients* I see, my start and finish times can vary from my available hours of 8-6. Generally, I'm in before start and leave after finish times. Also, stated working hours don't include paperwork, such as referral letters and medical reports. edit: dammit.. voted for the wrong one. I meant to be "in when I'm in etc"
  6. I have a set of Rays GTS on mine - 19s (yeah, I know they're not the best for traction) x 9.5" and 10.5", running 265s front and 295s rear (couldn't find decent priced tyres in 300+). The Rays rims can go up to 12 or 13" if I remember correctly. I do love the look of the CCWs though - and it's definitely worth remembering that it's usually tyrewall that gives straight-line traction, and width that gives lateral grip.
  7. Did you want to convert to R154, or V160/161?
  8. Great work! Looking more and more awesome each update I am being a picky bastard though when I say that I'm surprised, given the attention to detail you've shown, that you didn't clean up the Getrag while it was out
  9. Totally Vettel's fault - he had the line, because Webber pulled over to allow the pass, but for some inexplicable reason felt he needed to close down the line. Shame, because he's just cost himself a win.
  10. Nice work - but it looks like the shield needs to be about half an inch longer to cover the exhaust housing completely?
  11. Nice one, Craig. While I'm more of a Lab/Kelpie fan myself, he certainly looks like a nice beast
  12. No-one upgrading an auto diff to a TRD or other aftermarket centre?
  13. Well, if it's gonna get chucked... I might take it I'll give you a nominal "storage fee" until I have a place to put it, of course
  14. I still think the best solution is to take it apart for a visual inspection by an expert. I seriously doubt that HKS would have built this, and even if so there wouldn't be any ground-breaking technology (after all, most billet parts are uncommon even now).
  15. Yeah, that's what I'm hoping for - improvement of low-end & mid-range over non-VVTi but without loss of top end.
  16. Well, suppose we'll just have to be satisfied with the flowbench before/after on the VVTi head - and a rough correlation after tuning with previous dyno graphs. I would think that assuming the same dyno and tuner are used, that we'd see some decently comparable results regardless?
  17. Commiserations on the need to rebuild a head - but please keep us posted on the results of the VVTi flow bench! Am super keen to see, as I am planning to build mine sometime soon-ish.
  18. Looking good. Great project, mate!
  19. First step.. SEARCH. It's really not that hard. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=94705
  20. Well played England. A bit miffed that we (Australia) didn't play better, but it certainly seems that England didn't allow that and were the better team on the day.
