  1. Nice work, mate. For what it's worth, I think cloth or Alcantara is more comfortable to sit on, especially if you drive hard Keep us updated with the retrim!
  2. North Korea score against Brasil!! Australia looks even more shit now
  3. Agreed. Also agreed - but it's built to drag race, and also to prove that you can make 1000+ hp on a "cheap" built motor and e85. So we should see some decent strip times soon.
  4. Looked to me like he started around 60 or 70 mph in 6th most of the pulls, before dropping to 2nd or 3rd and wheelspinning uncontrollably on boost through 2 gears. None of the pulls were through the gears. Why would he be going super fast? No traction means no road speed.
  5. LOL at all the "armchair experts" in this thread saying how much or how little power this car "looks like" making. When was the last 700+ hp car you all drove?
  6. Apparently the owner is Australian - but no one is putting up their hand as responsible, or that knows him. Of course, unlikely that he'd surf the .Au forums having that kind of cash - too many tyrekickers on there now.
  7. Brazil vs North Korea should be interesting - a small test of Dunga's "defensive" side. New Zealand will get pumped against Slovenia, hopefully worse than Australia did against Germany (but then, probably not, seeing as they will play possession footy).
  8. He's very well known on the US forums, so a search there on his username ArminMkiv will bring up lots of stuff.. like this: http://www.supraforums.com/forum/showthread.php?t=470843
  9. Found mine on eBay - got the pair for £380. They do need a good clean, but don't look like needing a retrim. There are plenty of different models (Evos / Hondas / Porsches have various model Recaros depending on year) but I wanted the SR3 like in my Supra as it supports my back superbly. As ever with eBay, you HAVE to keep your eyes peeled and if possible have an idea of who else is looking (so you don't out bid each other!). These do come up quite frequently.
  10. I just got a set in black for my Aristo: They look so much classier in suede than the outdated fabric of my Supra Recaros.
  11. 1) Yes, but you *should* be able to get rails to fit perfectly from Bride (the Type R seats are identical models to the Supra ones). Edit: or just find some OEM Recaro rails. 2) As above, they should be OEM fit for the Supra. Are the ones you're getting the ones in the picture (i.e. red)?

    KDW's Beater!

That thing looks seriously unstable - wanders all over the shop! Doesn't look like it's been setup very well. Surprisingly crap video quality too, considering how much money has been "spent" on this car.
  13. To quote Pauline Hanson... "please explain?" Or, in less colloquial terms, what the hell are you talking about?
  14. Well, if ze Germans (haha I keep getting Jason Statham in "Snatch" saying that in my head) keep timing their runs to the absolutely split second they'll beat anyone. I kept saying "offside!!" until I saw the replays.
  15. Yes, yes they do. Don't let my disappointment in my country's team suggest that I don't think Germany are very very good. They're simply a level of class or 6 above us.
  16. Screw this for a bucket of fish fingers.. I'm sticking with the rugby from now on.. we suck at football.
  17. Oh but he can see a clumsy challenge well enough to judge it worthy of straight red?!? BULLSHIT.
  18. Blatant handball in the box by Germany. Apparently all the referees didn't see it....
  19. And you English complain about YOUR football team?!?! Australia looks like a pack of no-hopers out there - no cohesion, no passing ability, no work rate, no THREAT.... this makes me feel embarrassed to support the Socceroos. No wonder Germany have scored twice (and should have at least 2 more) - very easy to stream forward when the opposition can't even pass the ball effectively into the forward 1/3, let alone the penalty area. I'm FUMING.

Firstly, please read this: http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=78694 Then this: http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=33302 You've been here for a year, don't expect to be spoon-fed.
  21. Given that USA is arguably the more likely to come second in the Group, it's not a dire situation and doesn't warrant hand-wringing by England supporters. As long as next game they play better, defend / pass sharper and score more efficiently (i.e. convert more of those good chances).
  22. England 17, Australia 27 OOPS! I meant, 1-1
  23. At best, some very good performances that promise a bright improving tournament, not a loss and the goal conceded was an own goal. At worst, England looked sloppy and careless at times, and deserved more goals against them but for poor opposition striking.
