  1. Power steering coolers are usually supplied with the mid/top range intercoolers, if you are buying new. If you are buying a cheaper option, then SRD, Whifbitz etc.. Offer a power steering cooler, relocation kit. If you have a active spoiler installed, then this will have to be removed, as the motor and under tray (thick plastic) are in the way of the pipework. The active spoiler (assuming you have one) can be separated so that the active lip can be attached to your bumper, and will stay fixed in the locked down position. Some kits have very straight pipework coming from the turbo side, which usually leads to the stock airbox needing removed so that the pipe can run the ought the passage in the wing. The Greddy/HKS range usually have appropriate bends in this section, in order for the stock Airbox to stay in place. One bit of advice when removing the front bumper, it's always a good idea checking the state of the bumper brackets that attach the bumper to the wing, over time these can either break, or the previous owner may have snapped off the threaded section whilst not removing all the bolts correctly, I have replaced these on 4 of my Supra's over the years.
  2. Hi and Welcome Kelvin, Any pics of the soon to be Sup, we love pics on here
  3. John, once these are off, any chance you could measure the thickness of the disc, perhaps these have been skimmed too much at some point? Good warning nonetheless

    What is this?

If you are into OEM extra's bud, then keep it, otherwise these fetch decent money
  5. I reckon a nice dusky Bronze would look fresh on this car, gloss black will look mean, but may blend a bit too well, into the bodywork, if you see what I mean
  6. Harry, meet Sally http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?289814-MarkWs-Bronze-Behemoth
  7. Hey Hassan, very nicely done , any thoughts on which wheels you are looking at? Also, get your self along to a Glasgow meet!!!
  8. 5 speed has lower ratio's, acceleration is more rapid than the 6-speed, but the 5-speed is weaker than the Getrag 6-speed. The Getrag will have more top end. Type of Differential fitted makes a difference to gearing also. The value of these 5-speed TT's is around the price of a Auto-TT which might need a little tidying. N/A - Autoboxes are a little lethargic compared with the TT-Autobox, but still a good box.
  9. Tony, aslong as its 1rwhp more than Alex, I assume you will be chuffed
  10. Easy mistake to make Scott, liters and gallons, that is .
  11. Most chaps as far south as you Graham, can't tell the differencing between "bought" and "brought"
  12. I should explain, I am more than happy with the CW Suspension on Shiqwanda, it is perfect for the twisty stuff but also very liveable with for everyday life Logie , supply the tea and I will bring her round for you to test out the set-up
  13. I am considering Nitron's for the project car, really impressed with them on the M3, I am sure Paul Whiffin was running these at one point, or was that Steve Linton
  14. Craig, we as a forum have seen a lot of traffic as a community, plenty of builds have ended in tears and we are trying to safeguard you as best as we can with our info, in this game, if it sounds too good to be true, then questions have gotta be asked and answered. You need to stop relying on his "drift king"status and get down to the facts, 1) Get a list of the exact parts including manufacturers of said parts. 2) If these parts are really as nearly new as he claims, then ask for receipts (if he has not supplied these already) 3) what is the current condition of your own Engine?, I k ow you said he services it. 4) Have you budgeted for a Crank pulley and perhaps a Front and rear Crank seals, precautionary measure which could save you a nightmare. 5) Road mapping is never the most ideal thing to do, unless you guys are renting a track/air field. Rolling Road and a well respected mapper (AEM Mapper) should be recommended. Sorry to come across a bit off, but it might save you a lot more Agro than you will receive from reading this. Good Luck!
