    W58 gearbox

Is there no way of replacing the Input and Layshaft with something made of a more durable material?
  3. These units can end up costing the buyer alot less than they might expect, how i hear you say? - Well you could start by selling off your existing SLD and FCD (assuming that these are already fittied) this will net you £100 of anyones money. - If you are sticking to BPU levels then these units (I have had 3 of differing manufaturer) offer you a quick simple and effective upgrade with a noticeable performance increase across the rev range. As mentioned, you could purchase a Piggy-back or Standalone if you are keen enough though and i am sure that this would give you greater control overall but also consider the cost of mapping the said unit, and once again the gains per £. - These units retain a very good value and rearely depreciate so the buyer would not really see a great loss (if any) if they decided to sell on. Hope this helps anyone interested.

  7. I think a member called Cobrastang had work carried out by Performance Auto-Trix in Edinburgh (west bowling green street), I was given Simon's number by Geo and I will most likely be going ahead with his Quote.
  8. I think its the 3800 being a little high for the average BPU owner, a 3200 is the usual progression from stock. If i had a Single then i would have this.
  9. You are best giving Chris a call on : 07971-952084 or E-Mail him on the following: [email protected]
  10. UK average is around 12,000 miles a year so 16 year old car should be hitting around 192,000 average uk household, i reckon 179,000 is about on the money. I would be looking for Service history and alot of it though
  11. I could be tempted to sell you my Braid 18's, they were re-furb'd by Ibrar last year so are in great condition and come with a Gloss black lip and Matt Black centre and all the stainless nuts were also fully replaced. They come wrapped in Bridgestone reo50a's and Dunlop Sp9000's: 18x9 = 245/40/18 Dunlop Sp9000 18x10 = 275/35/18 Bridgestone reo50a From memory. let me know if you would like pics.
  12. Summer time or there abouts should see some better prices for the N/A boys. I will be selling the N/A-TT i bought for the Mrs in the summer time, once it has been tidied up and lightly upgraded.
